Cold to me. Was with 3 months free + top cash back in the past

+ IT IS MORE £24.50 IF YOU ARE NOT AN O2 CUSTOMER WHICH PROBABLY WOULD APPLY TO OVER 80% OF THE POPULATION.

Thanks for posting though

I've put it in the OP itself.. this is for O2 customers only..
Also i cant find a combo deal which gives landline + unlimited broadband at £15.33 .. Also we live in current time, not in past..

Edited by: "getknk" 29th Dec 2010

i got it when they had £100 cashback and 3 months free, plus i know a friend that gets me friends n family discount so it works out dirt dirt cheap for phone and broadband

All Rounder is capped at 100gb a month. This is a fair amount for most people but not unlimited by any other definition than the **** one ISPs use.

Also, quite heavily traffic managed. see site for details.

Am an o2 broadband customer myself but now i do not have an o2 mobile so it looks like Sky for me now at £18.75 (£11.25) for 1st 3 months. Already been a broadband customer with o2 cashback is a no chance. I wonder what happened to the original o2 deal where phone and broadband was due to be about £17.50 that soon vanished.

Can concur with that i know someone on second line and all the new packages will be hit with a FUP, if you are on the older packages you will be ok.

From where did you get that 80%? Come on...

i hate it when people pick holes in deals when the OP was just trying to help so take this the right way

i pay £7.50 a month for 100% 24/7 top whack unlimited with o2 now

they do the home phone package for £9

that makes £16.50 a month for me as an already existing customer (i have 2 x o2 mobile contracts so i get about £1.50 off my broadband nill)

No ones picking holes they are just pointing out the obvious if you are not an o2 user than it isn't much of an advantage over evryone else. As for the package you are on it is not a mainstream one and is no doubt been discounted for you at one time or another. The op is refuring to the following package

chooseisp.co.uk/bro…asp

Has you can see there is no such package to get what you have for £16.50 even if you are a o2 customer. I am pointing out has a sky customer i can get what they are offering cheaper especially since i do not have to pay out at least £40 a year to get the discounts. Having a company vodaphone mobile there is no need for me to get o2. True i would have to be a sky customer but there are probably just as many if not more than o2s.

Sorry latest figures show 28% of the people have o2 mobile but the rest will have to pay the premium price.

sameoldplayedoutscenes.wordpress.com/201…10/

I personally think that virgin media is doing a better deal than this at the moment:

Free telephone line installation for virgin (£80 for o2 if you don't have telephone line)
£50 CREDIT
6 months half price
Free internet security
Free Virgin Media Hub wireless modem router
Unlimited4 weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobile
£65 from top cash back.

With installation fees If you take the up to 10mb speed will come £16,75per month and that is to all customers

with installation fees and quidco o2 comes to £21.99per month for o2 customers and £27 per month for non o2 customers

Edited by: "loulouben" 29th Dec 2010

To get the 6 months half price you have to take out a 18 month contract does your calculation take that into account since the standard monthly costs are just over £30 for phone and BB when no discount is applied.

Yes I have calculated on a 18month contract for virgin and 12 month for o2

DO NOT HAVE THE "ACCESS" PRODUCT.

This deal was there for a while i wait may be jan 2011 more cheeper!!

Would never go back to Virgin, far too mean with their traffic shaping. Had O2 for just over a year and no such problems.
Cheers

Did you know that VM is the most expensive phone provider in the UK? Any call outside your allowance is 2 to 3 times as much as BT (UK and International). You can check this at the new moneyexpert.com phone checker.

Not Really!!

I get the phone, with unlimited eve & w/end calls, and BB on the highest tariff 'the works' for only £9.50 a month as an O2 customer. The 'all rounder' package has some unwelcome restrictions for some users particularly between 4pm and 12 am (mon-fri) 12pm and 12 am (w/ends)

How did you manage to get it so cheap?

I renewed my existing service which was out of the minimum term.

At first they put me on the 'All rounder' package which has some restrictions on streaming etc but I wasn't informed of this at the time of renewing. After finding this out, I phoned up and complained then threatened to cancel the service due to not being given some very vital information. Particularly when I had a pretty much already had a fast and unrestricted service from them.

After a few minutes of a pleasant but insistent chat they changed my package to the top level package, 'The works' ,all for the same price.

Worth a try if you weren't informed of the new 'throttling / traffic shaping when taking any of the services.

I now get:
Unlimited eve & w/end calls
Free 24/7 UK technical support
Contract 12 months
Download Speed Up to 20 meg, depending on your line. I live with 100 metres of an exchange
Upload Speed Up to 2.5 meg
Usage Allowance Download as much as you like (there's a fair usage policy of 250GB whereas the 'All Rounder is 100GB)
Web Texts 500
Free Mcafee Security Licenses 5
Static IP Address No
Router Our best wireless box 'N' Class
