great for people who likes redemption

Original Poster

yes... not for those beyond redemption

Might have a look into this, could be worth if redemption is reliable as you say

The ad says:

Internet access
up to 3GB
Cloud Wifi Hotspot access

3GB Cloud hotspot access? Not 3G? Its not very clear, is it?

Cant see them honoring this deal! Gone to be like the lg chocolate deal a few months ago..

when I click the link, it shows 13 months free, not 16 months
Am I right?

the tariff already includes 3 free. as far as im concerned its the same as a mobile cashback deal, you have to be bothered with the hassle.

guys, have you ever thought of this company going down due to recession? i ve spoken to CPW today and they said they have share in mobiles.co.uk but they will not honour their redemption deals. so be very careful.

quote from website:

"Mobiles.co.uk is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Carphone Warehouse Group"

Got to trust them, they cant walk away

mobiles.co.uk have been around since before 1999 when I got my first phone... Nokia 3210!
I see no reason why they would go bust esp with current apetite for smartphones and blackberries...
at worst they would dissolve into CPW

Original Poster

less hassle than before...
now just download the bills online and upload them to mobiles.co.uk
just set reminders in outlook/google cal/ical... 60 day buffer

how many times do you need to claim over the 18 months?

Going of o2 website...it does state 3 months free and also confirms the 3GB limit + unlimited wifi...so I think it should be the same deal.

Headline price changed to reflect known/committed costs.

Cashback/redemptions can be added to the OP explaining.

Just been on the phone to o2 and they tell me the 3 months free is only available if taken directly through o2!!!! Can I ask, who is billing us? CPW or o2?

Anyone else shed some light on this?

Cashback deals by CPWH / E2Save etc are like daylight robbery. The details of their cashback deals are often like tightrope walks, designed to ensure that people fall!! Some people so manage to get money back from them, but for every 1 such case there are probably many who don't...

Is there still quidco/TCB cashback available on their mobile broadband deals as i couldn't see a mention of it on either of their sites.

I've had contracts with both e2save and CPW and members of my family have too. Not one single time have either they or myself missed a cashback; it really is incredibly easy. I only had difficulty with e2save a few years ago when they lost my cashback claim form but i sent them another and i still got the cheque. What experience do you have of claiming and not receiving cashback? I'm not asking this to be obtuse, just if there is anything that you may have found problematic i may be able to help
