Additions Direct will take £14 plus £3.95 delivery out of your bank account just for reading this thread. Of course, they'll refund the £14 but the £3.95? They'll probably just hold on to that.

Dont buy from these cowboys!

This is the correct direct link if you need it: additionsdirect.co.uk/rf/…_id

I should wrap up warm, I feel a North wind about to blow. These were £10.50 direct from O2 delivered. (£10 for dongle + 50p for SIM) and I know who I'd rather deal with!

Different modem to the £10.50 one......

O2 one is 3.6kbps

People don't realise this is a double speed one. I agree with Additions bad experience it is difficult to deal with them again. May be I should aim to get the coldest deal ever.

O2 also includes BT Openzone Hotspots as well as Cloud.

It needs to mind you, because O2's data network is just about crippled because of the number of Jesus Phones connected to it. It can't cope.

That's also why it doesn't matter if you've got a 7.2mbps stick or a slower one.

If you need data, stick to Orange if you can - we've trialled Voda, Orange and O2 at work and have found Orange to be best by a good margin.

Hi Withabix, could you publish the results of your survey? Why did you exclude Three?

Anyone know if these dongles are unlocked? Also, is the there support in Ubuntu for them?
