Just a heads up really, it may do someone a favour but won't appeal to the masses!
Being a light mobile user (£10 a month simplicity tariff) I was looking to replace my ageing handset.
Both in the o2 store and on the phone (not online) they were offering a £10 per month, 24 month contract including a choice of quiet a few free handsets. Can't remember what, but they were basic camera phones. I think it was 75 minutes and 150 texts.
So if like me, you are a light user with short call durations, a few texts and only want a basic phone then it's a good deal.

oops it is isn't it. I didn't scroll down enough
Just saw the tariffs getting bigger as they went down so stopped looking.

Loads of deals around like this at the moment, one of the best I think at the moment is through Carphone Warehouse, Talk Talk network, 24 month contract, 200mins/200texts/Unlimited internet + £60 Quidco for £12 a month (£9.50 a month taking Quidco into account) and a good choice of phones.

p.s. like most unlimited internet phones it says "The unlimited Internet has a fair usage policy of 500MB and is for UK use only".

p.p.s. If you pick the Nokia 5230 you get unlimited maps (ie satnav) free.

This sort of thing needs to be banned. They are not allowed to advertise unlimited calls, with a fair use limit of 75 minutes per month. The same should go for internet.

True, but in the small print of all unlimited claims for texts/mins/internet is always a fair use policy.
Another way out of it as Virgin do with our home broadband is kill the speed if you use it too much, slows down to a crawl for a few hours.

Is this not just for pay as you go contracts? I know I looked long and hard before and the only actual limit stated that I could see was for PAYG, contract was a generic 'subject to not affecting other users' type comment.

Cheers for the link. And cheers op. Perfect for my mum, saves me worrying about her not having credit.

have also noticed you can also have the samsung DJ Beat free on the £10 month tarriff :-D
