If you don't mind sending off the bills to claim the redemption (I've been doing it for years without any hassle), for an effective cost of only £5PM you get unlimited minutes & texts and 2GB of data on a 12 month contract (£15.30PM
without redemption).

TopCashback are also throwing in £15.75 lowering the effective cost to £3.69.

Obviously due to the recent data breach on Carphone Warehouse some might view this deal with an err of caution, but what the hey!

I'm still waiting for a phone that my other half placed a order for on 1st August from carphone warehouse

What do they do with the bills? Take a note of all your friends you've called and data leak them or sell them to PPI?

Has anyone else had problems logging in to Mobiles.co.uk to submit cashback claims? I haven't been able to since the breach.

I think you'll find they took down the 'breached' web sites, one of those being mobiles as you know.

I doubt they'll come back to steal the info from the extra customers signed since the breach, as it wont be worth it.

And they've got the rest...

OP, you dont have to send off the bills anymore. You just upload them in your account off the website.
I had the breach email the other day, afte having my virgin email account having been hacked only 2 weeks earlier, can nobody keep my info safe anymore!. I just make sure I don't keep too much cash in my card account that i use for everything, so the hackers can't take too much!

I don't keep much money in my wallet or my pockets so the wife can't take too much.(_;)

Seems like a good price, but unable to order - looks like there's more problems with their website on the final purchase stages. Enough warning signs! - I'll go direct to O2 instead.

I am currently on o2 SIM only and coming towards end of contract. Can i take this deal out and transfer my number to the new o2 deal?

Thanks for the feedback. I am tempted too but these cash back deals seem took good to be true. Can just imagine the hassle when a claim doesn't go through.

Usually you have to port the number to another network first and then port back to keep your number and take up a deal like this on the same network. Normally the main group of people who will bother with that faff are the ones who only have one network locally with a reliable fast data signal.

I've had a few cashback deals with different suppliers, and all but the last one have been ok. saving an extra £6 a month is very appealing, but the amount of effort involved and the hassle if it were to go wrong puts me off.
It's a great deal, but I'd rather go direct to o2 via Quidco (£40 cashback for £15 tariff) - this brings effective cost for a callplan with 2gb data plan down to around £12 a month.

nowhere near as good as this deal, but as good as Tesco, GiffGaff, ID and all the virtual without the possible that of data throttling/prioritisation on the host network.

Was wondering what the situation with "O2 Travel " was with this tariff ? ... whether or not included . Had this a few years ago on an o2 tariff ... allows minutes / texts to be used while abroad for 50p a day .. and data at £1.99 a day .

Can't see any detail about this on this offer ?

It's a good price, but personally I couldn't be bothered with the faf getting the cash backs.

Good deal for those who are

I have ported my 02 to 02 a few times now each time my contract ends. they used to not allow this but seem fine now.

yes me also, called them up, guy gave me his email, emailed him my bill and he responded to say all gone through ok.

have been doing cashback deals for 8 years never had any probs!

Is this deal expired? How do you know what's going on with cashback? All a bit vague on their site.

Is e2save the same as mobiles.co.UK? I tried to log in to my account n it said it was sending an auth link! I clicked n it took me to e2save n asked me the same info! n then again sent me another confirmation email!
