What you mean? You need to be existing customer?
If you mean that you're already a customer then just take out another line. I've had many lines running concurrently

And £340 for 64GB. Certainly the best price for this phone.

You pay £10 for the phone and £21 for the 3GB data = £31 monthly total

This is a Refresh deal by O2, meaning all their contracts are split into phone and airtime payments so what you're doing is taking out the contract and cancelling within your statutory 14 days. When you're cancelling you are telling them you want to keep the phone and in this case the phone payment part of the contract is £10 a month so times that by 24 months which is the initial contract equals £240 plus the upfront payment of £19.99 and voila you have a phone for £259.99. Pretty simple phone call all in all as they don't bounce you around retentions, have done it myself in the past.

O2 also unlock their pay monthly phones for free so make sure to unlock it within the 14 days before your cancel otherwise you'll have to pay extra to do so. You can use this form to unlock it, from personal experience it took just under 3 working days to do so at which point I called to cancel and getting a phone this way did not affect my credit score.

To clarify the 14 days part you need to do that to avoid being charged for a month of usage on top of the device plan but you are never actually locked into full 24 months as this is a Refresh contract. You can in theory use the contract for a few months and then cancel when you feel like you want to change the provider and to do that just pay off the device part (£10 x number of months you'd have left at that point) with no penalty.

Does doing this affect your credit rating, since your taking a contract out then immediately cancelling it?
Sorry I missed that, Alittle early in the morning...
I've ordered one nonetheless, hopefully everything will go seamlessly and I can cancel the contract and pay what's outstanding for the device.
great deal. Sammy just released Android 6.0 beta firmware and so far it's great ( you can join beta program by downloading galaxy care app from Samsung app store and opt in for beta test. you need unlocked phone and generic UK firmware.)
So why do you need to be an O2 customer already? As someone seems to imply that a few comments up

No you're not cancelling the contract. You're paying it off. The contract is for the length of time it would have taken for you to pay off the handset cost (loan agreement). That's why the refresh contract works out better because you can do it whenever during the contract.
With the airtime and phone cost split. It makes upgrading alot cheaper aswell.
Well..this deal doesn't seem to be a deal though. ....cause of a few iffs.nd buts nd 24 months wait etc..if u wanna get s6 for 269
..might as well get it from argos for 259.
Brand new ..no contract. ..no fuss....
If you pick the 39 pound tariff instead of the 31 you can get 70 pound on quidco and the phone is still 259.99 so might sweeten the deal.

£400 on argos ?
I'm waiting for a similar deal for the edge variant but this is a brilliant deal. Maybe a sign that the S7 is coming and they want to clear stock of the S6?

where on Argos is it that price please?
Not sure can only assume it's fairly automated if your ordering it through the website so it should track in the first week or so giving you time to cancel but maybe someone else can clarify.

Exactly. So risky.
So do people find the 32gb enough or do you go for more
Went for the 32gb sapphire black. Glad I waited and didn't order the refurb. Store near me had stock to collect from tomorrow Boxing Day lol but I resisted and opted for pick up at another stock on 30th. At least it allows me to cancel straight away online then as call centers will be open
Thanks OP. Hopefully I'll stick with the s6 and sell my much more expensive iPhone 6s Plus
I'm assuming you get the quick charger in the box as well as a headset right? As opposed to the recently posted refurb deal which I think only included the phone and a usb cable.

You need to be in contract min 6 months for cashback
£31/mo for 3 GB data. That values the phone at £310. There is no equivalent simplicity tariff but an approximation is £19/mo for 3GB.

I'll admit its unusual to see a deal on O2 but its only a fifty quid saving vs sim only and you're locked into a two year deal with s7 out in Feb.

Just curious, won't O2 call centers be open from Boxing Day onwards?

Did for me a few years ago and paid out
Got a Nexus 5 myself, but having picked up one for the Mrs from Argos (£349.99 and came with wireless charger), might get envy and get one of these myself.

Or could hold out a little longer. Recent upgrade of Nexus and being able to block nuisance calls as given my phone a but more life
I am due an upgrade and would like a s6 I'm with o2. Any advise?

Yes I saw this too, another reason
why I opted for new from Argos with it being an Xmas present.
