That's why there's ultra power saving mode (_;)

I disagree. I can get a day, maybe day and a half out of my S6 Edge. Same with my brother who has the regular S6.

I have had my S6 for nearly 8 months. I upgraded myself from the one plus one. Yes I would admit the phone battery life isn't great. But it lasts me a day if not quick charge makes it full charged in an hour.

Shame the o2 website has been down since post

Ugh, same! Best not disappear when it goes back online

Do you get a guarantee with the phone?
Not too sure how the o2 Refresh works, will need to read the fine print before buying

You obviously never had an LG G4 then.

I need to get rid of this phone. get from 6:30am til 12noon without even using it as it's in a locker and it's at 40-60%, by the time I finish lunch it's at 20-30%, even had a completely dead handset by lunch on 2 occasions (presumably android related bugs).
love the phone besides, such a shame, may get the htc 10 or something and sell this to cex

You're right, it was also on a useless Android OS called Lollipop for its first year of release. All I can say about Marshmallow is I suppose to works now. I'm looking at the Moto Z Force to replace it currently.

Sounds faulty to me, I make it to about 30% by the late evening. If I use the phone a lot then I'll need to charge it up two or three times a day, that does mean constantly using it for web browsing etc.

Website is back online but cant find any deal with a monthly £7 line rental as suggested above

Select 20GB Data - £29.99 upfront - £37.00 a month.

Scroll down to basket and see it stated as £7.00 monthly.

Cheers, ordered

I own this phone and it's great only downside is that u can't insert a memory card

A little confused now. I can see £7 monthly on the left hand side but when I enter my bank details it states monthly direct debit will be £37 /month

Just read the o2 refresh comments on another post. So the price is just for the phone. I'm going to give this a miss. There are comments saying people were unable to cancel the contract as well as the unlock not working.

Im using a Samsung s6 bought via o2 refresh deal. Had no issues in unlocking the device.

I think this deal means that once you get the phone you cancel the airtime contract so you only pay 7pm for the phone element. Although i cant see where it says you can cancel without penalty etc?

so when you cancel do you have to pay for phone altogether or you can choose to pay £7 pm?

1) Follow the get deal button, purchase the £29.99 + £7*24 tariff.
2) Receive your phone, inspect it if it's in a good (A grade) condition.
3) Put a sim card into your phone and go online, request the unlock code.
4) Call 202 from the same sim card as it will make things much easier, go straight to the I want to leave o2 department or something like that (I think it's thinking of leaving us? Press something) as that will connect you with the right people much quicker.
5) Tell the person you want to pay your device in full and cancel the airtime. They will ask you why, tell them you don't think the airtime is a good value for money, but you want to keep the phone because you think it's an outstanding value for money. They will ask you for card details, you tell those details and that's it, they cancel it for you in about an hour.
6) You own the phone from that point, assumed that you have done this straightaway, there won't be any charges, otherwise you will have to pay as much airtime as you have used.
7) Unlock code will come through in about 2 to 48 hours.
In first month they might take the airtime from your bank account through direct debit because they generate the bill the next day you apply for a contract, don't be scared as this will be refunded the next month, if not, call them again.

And that's how you get a bargain for your money.

Thanks to iEimis on this thread hotukdeals.com/dea…535

This is a nice deal, when you think about 2.3 month ago was 450 in the best case, buuut I will stick with my Note 4 :), I know the camera for s6-s6 edge is terrible..:(.

Very tempted tbh. How do they let you get away with this? It says device cost if you but it outright is 280odd but if you cancel contract and pay the 7 handset price per month it's 197... There's no way they can refuse the lower price and charge the full 280odd? I've never used this system before so cheers for the advice.

Hi All

Where is the £7 tariff?

i`m not able to buy, i have message
Your payment didn't go through.
Use a different card to continue.
I tried few cards, every declined.

you'll probably find that it's because it's in a locker that the battery life is so bad. it will spend the entire time searching for a good signal which will just drain the battery

No, you have to pay off the phone in full before you can cancel air time

I wouldn't recommend these deals with o2 refresh, done it once before with a tablet and whilst the process is easy in theory getting the person to cancel the contract properly & without charge was a headache and probably wasn't worth the hassle!

my thoughts exactly, i had enough hassle closing a Santander account. incentives/ tie in deals rarely work with me

Thanks OP
I've jumped on this.
Done the refresh thing about half a dozen times now, sometimes it's easier than others but always works!8)

Sorry for getting back late. You only pay for the device. Full amount. Contact will be cancelled.
