That's what I'm wondering. This is a good deal

I pay £8 for 4GB data on three so their £9 a month for 9GB deal seems great

Because O2 are expensive, and there are many plans offering similar data for around £10-12 a month without having to pay more and wait for cashback from the seller!
For example
- Voxi (Uses Vodafone) £10 with 8GB of data and unlimited Social media and only 30 day contract.
- Virgin Media (Uses EE) £10 for 10 GB of data and free rollover.
- Three £10 with 8GB of data and worldwide Roaming in 70+ countries.
- Sky Mobile (Uses O2) £10 for 8GB of data and rollover of data too.

Many of these also offer cashback via Quidco too, which lowers the total price further.

If you're happy with Three you can get 8GB for £10 a month and also cashback via Quidco.

None of this paying one price and being reliant on cashback from the shop to bring down to a similar price to what other competitors are already offering.
Paying £10 for 9gb data plusnet

Sky mobile are using o2 and I’ve seen deals as low as £3.99 from them. Maybe that’s why not sure

You may have the best experience with O2 based on your usage and location but overall it has the lowest 4G speeds (which is the main thing differentiating networks these days).
