I was looking for a sim only deal after three mobile’s signal issues were driving me crazy! I’ve gone through with this deal and have had my number changed over too!

If you go through uSwitch you’ll notice you get more data for less £s per month.

Link may not work as you have to go through uSwitch to get this deal

Hope it helps someone!

I got this deal earlier in the year. Spoke with them on chat to see if they could improve the offer. Got months 3-7 FOC.
Also been getting £5/month off for participating in the community forum.
Brings it down to about £11/month over the year for me.

Moved as no other provider has signal in my street /house /. Headline speeds less than EE but overall signal better.

"Also been getting £5/month off for participating in the community forum" now that is a good idea.. wonder if we can merge that with some of the new concepts for HUKD

Wow that £5/month off is brilliant. Could I do this now? How do I go about doing this?

Ha. Good luck with that.

With O2 up to £20/month credit is possible by being active on their site. Great idea.

Yeah I was paying £15 for unlimited data but I was hardly using it as I wouldn’t get a signal all day!

I been with 3 for about 8 years.Same as was on unlimited data for £15.Then it got rubbish then I dropped down to 30GB for £12.This year I have had to talk and moan to them so much they sent me A free signal box.I said what good is that when i'm out. They then dropped my plan to £9.But if i'm lucky I get to use like 4gb of that.

Is that community forum thing them trying to palm off some customer service issues to the community a bit like GiffGaff does? To save calls to CS by users answering them?

I left O2 anyway, the voice was fine but data shockingly bad.
is this for 4g or 5g?
Thank you was paying £14 a month for 1 gb
Have been with all the major companies except O2 - how is service/internet speeds in London, please? My Vodafone contract has just ended, had better service with EE

also, just thought I’d add on - it hotspotting allowed with O2?
DryUrEyesMate07/07/2019 14:52

As O2 have no live 5G service yet, I'd say 4G.

Who knows how they will handle existing customers when it goes live in September.

Jeez. That's a Bit 2010.

I currently pay £6 for 12GB on Sky ( x2) and £11 for this 50Gb with discounts.

Not that I have seen. Although tech and Cs are staff actively present on the forums to also answer questions.

For me the voice has been better than the rest.
Data headline speeds less than EE, ( 300meg versus 150 tested for me) but more widespread signal and more than fast enough.

Will be interesting their take on 5g plans in September.

Ahh. Fair enough.

Not had a contract in many years. Have the technology disease. 😁
Superb deal. Just called O2 and took the offer on my existing contract. Nice one

The O2 site says you have to buy direct from them so I wouldn't have thought so.
Cold! I pay 20 a month for 100gb on EE inc unlimited data for streaming and roaming outside the EU.
Cold - 100gb data and unlimited mins and texts on Vodafone £20 per month 12 month contract - the deals been on here loads of times
Can this be used abroad without incurring additional costs?
UK slowest 4G network, also UK’s last network to launch 5G next year?
Check the O2 network in your area . I stucked with them for 24months 2 years ago with their poor service in my area.

I have two 10 inch headrest mounted DVD players (so the children can watch independent movies) each have HDMI inputs, both TV's are connected to a HDMI splitter box which is being fed by a now TV stick. The only down side is the amount of power connections. All the wires and cables along with the now TV stick and splitter are in the drivers arm rest compartment where I have USB and 12v power sockets. The TV's have power socket each, the splitter requires one (USB) as does the Now TV but don't get cheap 12v sockets as there wont be enough amps to run the now TV stick. The movie channels are live as well as being able to watch all they have available streaming. Some other channels are live as well as box sets and so on. This was the only option for me as I have Virgin at home. Using sky go or virgins equivalent would mean running a separate laptop with HDMI out and splitting this way. As I wanted a plug and play set up for the children (We do lots of trips away) the option I went for was better. Oh and get some headphones too... We also have an echo for the car which we take away where ever we go....

I guess it depends where you live and what network gives you the best coverage. In my workplace, we have three voda and ee sims and ONLY o2 signals work. So I could get unlimited everyone for a fiver but if I can’t use it what’s the point, hence my switch to o2.

I’ve only recently changed jobs. I’ve been with three for donkeys years and never had an issue as it would give me good signal. But where I work now, I’ve hardly used 5gb in last 2 months!
I just upgrade from 20gb to 50gb for the same money , already with O2 so a no brainer really , found out I get one of the following for free .

Free Gift: Claim one of the following gifts: (i) 2 Diggit Bluetooth Outdoor Speakers with Stereo Pairing Ability in wood; (ii) a Kitvision Action Cam bundle which includes action camera, extension stick, floating pole and memory card; or (iii) a pair of JLABS Audio Epic 2 Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Sport Earbuds (“Gift”) when you buy: (i) any handset on an O2 Refresh tariff with 30GB of data and above; (ii) any tablet on an O2 Refresh tariff with 10GB of data and above; or (iii) a SIM Only tariff with 50GB of data and above, direct from O2 between 4 July and 4 September 2019 ("Qualifying Purchase").
How much is it per month after 12 months?

100GB is useless if you can't use it.
Same with smarty unlimited for £18.50 or Three UK unlimited for £20. Completely useless if you don't get a signal.

So, if you need O2 this is pretty good from them.

( although after speaking with them I got this price down)

Certainly not cold for a 50GB deal with O2.

Yes. Including the USA.
BT 12 month contract much better than this for existing customers. cold deal

Again, very subjective.

For me it's EE ( Max c300meg) then O2 ( max 150meg) then Three ( max 90meg).
All of them more than enough.

Although travelling around the country O2 has had the widest signal for me. And most importantly the best voice cover.

Thanks for the info Paul , my car has 1 x 12v plug in it (vauxhall mokka) , i have now tv sticks too and sunscription so sorted that way , will it work on any set of dvd headrest's or did you find needing a certain type/make?.

Their data speeds are probably the worst but they benefit from mainly using low frequency signal (800/900 MHz) that penetrates indoors easily.

You can get Voxi (Vodafone) with 45GB data, unlimited social media, calls and texts.
It's not got a credit check and no 12 month contract.
