Worn obviously not work

And as for people voting this cold vote based on the fact they're 20% cheaper than normal not based on whether you think this is expensive for a pair of sunglasses

If your a keen cyclist there a steal

Banned

If you'e a pro cyclist these are part of the kit. If you're a middle-aged accountant on the daily commute then you will look a bit of a prat

I'm sat here chuckling at myself.....

I've just spent £1400 on a new bike and I can't be doing with all the people on here who reply to any bike offer with "flipping heck - you could buy a car for that.... who needs to spend that amount of money on a bike..."

And despite spending all that money on a bike, I can't stop myself saying over and over again "flipping heck - who needs to spend all that money on sunglasses - you can get perfectly good polarised cycling sunglasses for less than a tenner!" :-)

So for those of you who can justify these to yourselves - or are reconciled that they're just worth it as an indulgence - enjoy!

"Unobtainium: A soft hydrophilic synthetic, it increases adhesion when wet to grip better when you perspire. This makes it ideal for earsocks and nose pads in performance eyewear."

Tempted to vote cold purely because of the stupid marketing terms that Oakley continue to dream up. Also, they look really cheap - despite being expensive.

I'm not going to vote on these...but I definitely think buying Oakleys is a mugs game

ridiculous

They look awful

" Unobtainium"

"In fiction, engineering, and thought experiments, unobtainium is any fictional, extremely rare, costly, or impossible material, or (less commonly) device needed to fulfill a given design for a given application."

How cheeky...

Want - don't need. What to do.

Yeah they use silly marketing but it's clearly tongue in cheek

Look at the Joakley glasses on ebay. Type in cycling glasses, you can get similar pairs for a couple of quid, you dont mind if you drop them or lose them.

All the Oakleys I've ever owned in the past, I've managed to sell on at a profit.
They're not especially overpriced for sunglasses, just look at every pair of designer branded ones in Selfridges, these look quite reasonable in comparison.

Cheaper here £122.45 + £5.35 for delivery.

Sorry, I must live in a different universe...Anyone prepared to pay this much for a pair of sunglasses regardless of their worth is completely mental!

I wouldn't pay this for these glasses, however it's a deal site. If I hadn't found it cheaper elsewhere, I would have voted hot.

Unfortunately people are Subjective when looking at this site. What they can afford, or if they don't like the brand or style. If they can find it cheaper somewhere else, then vote cold. If you just don't like it and havn't looked for a cheaper price then people shouldn't vote either way.

Thats a general statement and not directed at one person.

I don't like or dislike these. I do however have my sanity

Maybe they're voting cold because these items are manufactured for utter peanuts in comparison to their RRP making them a NON DEAL. enjoy spending ludicrous money on a product that's quality is relevant to standard retailers

How many people voting cold also wear regular single vision glasses? How many of you then it glasses from say an expensive independent or other higher end optician. Who the charge you £300+ for fancy specs that Specsavers would charge half that and you get 2 pairs.
Would I spend this much on Sunnies? no chance. Do I think it's all a bit of fun and a personal taste and indulgence? yes I do so voted hot.

And ignorant of others choices and rights

I haven't bought these as I don't want them but was posting them to hopefully help others that were considering buying them as at the time I thought it was the cheapest deal for them. I've never heard of bikeinn but know cycle surgery are a good company to order from

If you choose to spend your money on something else then good for you, your choice, your cash. Maybe people would think your choices or priorities are mental but doesn't mean they're right and you're wrong!

Personally, I would go for Oakley over cycling cheaper glasses. I wear either my prescription Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ sunnies & Crosslink Sweep normal glasses. It's not snobbiness I promise.
1) 2 year guarantee & aftersales, if I need replacement earsocks, a quick phone call or email & I get them in the post a few days later.
& 2) Safety, watch this video

just got my cavendish edition ones today, comfiest glasses I've worn and i have four pairs of oakleys. Awesome find of view, don't steam up and the prize lenses are excellent Do i look a pratt wearing them - probably - do i care - nope, lets face it we hardly look the bomb in lycra anyway!

Not ignorant at all. I've expressed a view (as have you), which I believe this site entitles you to do. Lets face it,... these have bombed! lol..:p
