Or maybe that's just social distancing bringing out a dirty mind
didnt want one or need one but somehow being locked up at home having one of these seemed like a good idea.. i could be losing my mind..

OK now i'm scared what i might have been thinking about when i ordered this..
That's really nice and actually looks pretty good value at £68.

Tempted but...
I have the jet black version with red trims. It's an awesome backpack that has traveled many times internationally and still looks great. The functionality of it is epic - with useful side access for laptop / tablet and also bottom zip for large pocket to fit a coat or hoody. At this price its a steal...

Do you have a link to the bigger version? This one states 34 litre. TIA

Only one extra litre storage!!
I really like this but already have a backpack. I wish I could justify buying this.

4 inches taller, 3 wider and 4 deeper though.

Size matters no matter who tells you otherwise

One backpack is not enough. I just threw out 6 and still have 4. I chucked out 6 to allow me to buy more.

I have hooks on my wall for them. Once full I'm not supposed to get more without getting rid of one.

that looks interesting? Any idea on where to see it in the flesh?
Don't know if I like it or not...looks a little bit too "tactical" on this side of the Atlantic...

Ah, silly mistake for them to make. At c. 80 litres that sounds a bit too big. It's a small bergan.

I didn't know that, cheers.

It's not the same backpack though - the Oakley Panel
oakleyforum.com/thr…23/

Oakley shades feature in various films too.

Romeo X Metal's in Mission Impossible, obvously the Matrix, X-Men too I believe (the earlier ones) - for Cyclops I believe.

youtube.com/wat…mzU

The idiom - everything but the kitchen sink.

You can fit a lot of gear in it.

It's also got a heavy duty, utility, metal build (steel cable! Parachute inspired pull buckles etc.)

It's classic Oakley - over-engineered, heavy duty, not cheap but actually you get a lot for your money.
Kind of 90s, Matrix etc. I guess.

They designed the buckles especially for the bag, in house. That's what Oakley's engineering / design team used to do.

Their new backpacks are nothing like this. But they still make it.

I got mine a couple of years back and it's dated 2013.

It's part of the Sink Collection:
oakleyforum.com/thr…61/

That shows how it compares to the Big Kitchen too.

It's little brother is the Bathroom Sink:
oakley.com/en-…356

As for where you can see these, the Oakley store in Covent Garden.

And some of the Oakley Vault stores may have it. The one by Manchester had the Bathroom Sink in stealth black for around £66 or so when I went there back in 2018. Perhaps I should have got it.

I've got the Oakley Hot Tub too:
oakley.com/en-…550

Also appropriately named.

It's a beast, and matches my Kitchen Sink.

It's smaller brother is the Bath Tub:
oakley.com/en-…526

I missed the Oakley Home Office case unfortunately:
oakley.com/en-…606

That's the whole range I'm aware of.

Nope.

See:
oakleyforum.com/thr…61/

It's only a bit bigger, not 80 litres! 35l as stated. Heavier duty, and a top loader, which I prefer.
Dimensions will likely be widest point etc, and obviously won't be uniform. It's not a cuboid!

You need to speak to Oakley not me. They only provide three dimensions: l, w, d.

Now you should calculate the capacity of the smaller one using the dimensions they provide: 36*20*51

Oh, no, 36l: how can this be it's not a cuboid.

Eh? Why do I need to speak to Oakley. Around 1L more capacity seems right.
Just look at the side by side photos.
I don't really care - just trying to provide more accurate information.

It's certainly not 75L or 80L.

It depends very much on how they want to measure the volume.

The Kitchen Sink is a large backpack. Fairly substantial. 34L seems correct.
The Big Kitchen is a bit bigger, so 35L seems correct.

If the quoted dimensions make you think it's around 80L that's understandable, but it's not. So you can blame Oakley for that if you like - so if anyone needs to speak to Oakley that'd be you heh. Anyway, who cares.
Go with 35L and a bit larger, that's correct. I've seen both in person much like the pictures here:

"seems" correct?

As I said, you need to speak to Oakley if you doubt their claims, they publish the dimensions not me. Those dimensions equate to c. 80L. It is quite simple.

I'm not sure you fully understand how a small change to dimensions can make a huge change to capacity, but I don't care.

Arithmetic :

L*w*d = volume.

The dimensions and the photo would suggest that the 35l claim is the error.
