RRP of £200 is a bit of joke but this bag is commonly around £150 elsewhere so £60 seems a half decent discount

I'm considering this, but I feel like it would be so much more useful if it had backpack straps too.

Edit: Oh damn, it has.

Anyone found the weight of it?
Wheels and backpack straps leave only 25L of space.

I'm struggling to find it (details are scarce) but I think I spotted something like 2.6kg somewhere... ie "typical" enough. Not super light but not a brick

do you have to pay extra to bring it in on Ryanair/Wizzair?

No, so long you keep it below 10kg.
Thanks for posting as needed a new cabin bag. Noticed that Flybe are now checking almost all wheeled cabin bags using their size checker thing. Have been on 4 flights over the last 2 weeks and noticed it on all of them. A lot of people not happy and being charged Flybe have 20cm width whilst likes of easy jet have 25cm so this bag should be good for almost all airlines for carry on. Heat added
£200 RRP??

I just read this morning "passengers are permitted two cabin bags, one measuring up to 55 x 35 x 20cm, the other a smaller bag that can fit under the seat in front. The combined weight of both items cannot exceed 10kg."

10kg for TWO bags is a joke. Ignoring the usual "bag + passenger weight" debate, I've got laptop, camera gear etc which cannot be trusted to the baggage handlers.

Easy choice - I'm never flying Flybe

We call them FlyMaybe Guess that’s why they have been sold, trying to squeeze the last few £a out of us. Hope the new owners sort it out, although I am guessing they are after any London slots !!

In Ryanair you need to pay to keep your bag in the cabin. They only left you the small bag for free.
Has anyone got this ? How good are they ?

Nope, the bag is too big so you have to buy priority to bring it on board. So £60 is waste of money for me.

The website says its carry on size?

Carry on size is getting smaller and smaller every year.

I would recommend bags by Dakine if you are looking. They really are top quality and used by loads of surfers and skiers. Oakley make good sunglasses, Im personally not sure about the rest of their stuff.
A lot of cheaper airlines are reducing to 20cm deep and they will measure it.

As has been said, FlyBe make you put any case in the measurement rack thing and tag it. They then sometimes recheck it before you go through security.

If it doesn't fit at any point (and a lot of people's cases didnt when I was catching a flight), it's a £60 admin fee and it's checked.

Personally I'm not bothered, I knew the rules so used a slightly smaller case that fits. I could hear the check-in staff sigh in disappointment as I measured my case 😁

I just can’t think of a situation where I would take it off my back and wheel it? Can’t figure out why I would want wheels and backpack straps.

Maybe with heavier contents, it will be too heavy to carry.

£200 RRP??

That's what I was thinking I wouldn't pay £60 at full price

https://www.argos.co.uk/product/4984737 Get this instead.

And if you want something bigger click the M option and it's only £27.99
When I saw this was 70% off in the WhatsApp group, I thought the price would be £20 or something. But no, it's £60 AFTER the discount, not before

What scam airline is that? Carry on is carry on.
Ryanair Air have sent me the new dimensions 5x by Emails for cabin baggage. It’s only 20x25x40 cm-Don’t forget you can bring a plastic bag with ‘duty free’ in addition

Carry-on dimensions are airline specific. There used to be a single standard but a lot of cheaper airlines have reduced and reduced, down to 20cm deep.

For bags and rucksacks it's easier to meet the dimension as you can fold it in but for rigid, wheeled cases it's a hard dimension to meet.

A bit coy on the weight. Would not want to buy only to find the bag takes up a large part of your allowance.

Agreed - it's a bit nonsensical asking that much and then dropping it to what the real RRP should be.

1 born every minute.

I await the lessons/lecture on quality and brand name from those with more money than sense.

This is an exert from today’s reminder Please note: If they bring a wheelie bag to the gate or if their small bag is too big to fit in the bag sizer, they’ll be charged a fee of £25.
Mine was delivered yesterday. Have to say really good quality, straps will be handy when rushing late to the gate A few nice features including a shoe pocket at the bottom which separates from the rest of the bag Agree RRP is a joke but with £4 Quidco tracker and quality feels about the right price. Weight is ok as a back pack. Hope that helps someone.
