Benefits of Oat Milk

Oat milk is an extremely health-concious choice, high in natural fiber and iron, and low in fat, sugars, and calories. Switching to oat milk is a preferable option if you are looking to lose weight.

Oat milk also provides many important vitamins and minerals including manganese, potassium, phosphorus, many B vitamins, vitamin E, and Vitamin A. Oat milk also contains a type of antioxidant called phytochemicals, which can protect against diseases including heart disease, stroke, and some cancers.

This is Oat Water....it's a marketing con

It's the environmentally sound alternative to calf growth formula
I love porridge in oat milk. Though it's kind of like cooking something in it's own blood. Voted hot.

Same price at ASDA if more convenient to anyone

£1each in sains. also
what's the downside to oat milk? Lack of protien?
I make my own, just a blend soaked organic oats and water for 3 min and strain. Cost : pennies
Also £1 in Tesco. Tastes closest to regular milk but not as creamy as the "Oatly" brand

You probably get adequate protein in your diet already so if you only really take milk in your tea or coffee it's all good

Nope, other alternatives to cow secretions are also not water
Alpro Soya, Almond & Coconut also £1 at Tesco and have been for at least the last 2 weeks so I imagine that the deal will be ending soon.

And the benefit of beef milk is that you can choose different coloured bottles, depending on the gristle content
Waiting for them to do the same for the Alpro Soya Vanilla

Yes the chocolate is amazing
Thing is in tea and coffee you taste it. It's great for cereal as the taste is complimentary, but not a huge fan of it for tea and coffee as other milk alternatives compliment flavours better even if they occasionally curdle.
Greatest cereal milk in the world and beyond.

Indeed it is. Who would want to drink oat juice or soya juice?
Really like this on my cereal. I don't find it a great replacement for milk in tea and coffee, though nothing is really. I actually like it occasionally in coffee but it becomes a slightly different drink, so it's nice but not a replacement as such.

Looks like a few haters here have never tried it.
This is pretty disappointing IMO.

The Hemp drink is much tastier goes well in drinks and smoothies and enjoyable on it's own, even if it's also not "proper" hemp milk. None of the supermarket stuff is a patch on the real thing.
Yet to find an alternative to cows milk for my daily cuppa that tastes any good so will give this a try.

I've finally switched from cows milk. To be honest I didn't find anything as good but just got to the point where I don't to buy it anymore.

People that are health conscious, understand the environmental impact of dairy and are against the cruelty involved with animal milk.
PG have a tea blended to use with non dairy. Find this improves the taste but going non diary takes a while to get used to a different taste. Chocolate flavour is lovely, but not in tea!!

The other option is better tea and drink it black, if you get some decent whole rolled loose tea it tends to be less bitter so doesn't need milk. Obviously still takes a bit of getting used to though, and is more expensive.

Regular milk is about 87%-89% water so about the same %age as in Oat Milk. If you think we should call Oat Milk Oat Water then we should call the dairy stuff Cow Water

Or herbal tea, that also takes a while to get used to - or just drink water. According to SWMBO the best herbal tea to start with is blackcurrant, although nettle tastes a lot better than you might expect and has health benefits. She has tried oat milk, says she used about twice as much as cows milk. She didnt manage to get me to drink any of these

I could never get into herbal tea. I've started drinking matcha tea regularly and really enjoy that, very good for you apparently. Traditionally drank without milk (which is how I usually have it) but works well as a latte with oat milk.
