If you are not tired of soya milk then it is at 75p at TESCO tesco.com/gro…107

The chocolate flavour of this is really good.

This stuff is really great. Thinner in consistency than soya milk, I find it's a lot nicer on cereals and isn't bitter like almond milk.

I struggle witb dairy and soya. So so
me heat from me. I do find rice milk slightly nicer but for a quid you can't go wrong.

Hi pmackers! I appreciate the good intentions with this link but I would recommend against using Menshealth articles as a source for any decision taking in nutrition (or anything else!).
Scientific studies have shown again and again that men won't get feminised or have less semen because of soy consumption. Some examples bellow. Cheers.

Soy is also a known allergen so great that there are now other options out there for folks that are allergic. I think Oatly is the best tasting of the non-dairy milks that I'm not allergic to.

And as pointed out, Soya is an allergen whereas Oats are actually used to treat allergic reactions and particularly skin conditions. So overall the top billing goes to Oats over Soy. Fermented Soy products (miso etc.) are amazing of course!

Scientific studies show whatever they are paid to show! Nothing can be trusted..

Apart from dodgy research, scientific studies are not "paid to show" anything. Public funds are used to answer a question (for example, "Does soy consumption affect hormone levels in men?"). The answer is not known before the data is collected. That is not say that there are no cases of conflict of interest (research support by companies) where data might be treated/presented in a way that can be misleading. Thankfully that is not the rule though!

Peer reviewed studies are required to publish conflicts of interest down to the funding level. Some of these papers you require full text to see that but, looking at the last one as a random example, it's extremely doubtful the authors of a study by Department of Human Health and Nutritional Sciences, University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada are in the pocket of the soy industry.

Sounds like you're coming at this with preconceived and fixed beliefs anyway, so I suspect your opinion is inflexible regardless of reliable evidence.

I don't eat much soy myself, because most (not all) of what you see on the shelves is industrially produced. Some of the soy milks have % soya content and loads of other processed rubbish. Authentic Japanese Tofu is entirely different to the stuff produced in the west which is barely edible IMO. Then again organic fermented soy sauces and Tempeh are readily available, and you can make your own soya milk and consuming normal amounts of these won't give you man boobs.

That was supposed to read "3%" not sure why it came up with a heart lol
