My Mrs just signed up and the confirmation email stated...

On the other hand, if it's not for you, just log in from 7th March 2013 and go to your Smart Pass page to cancel before your trial ends. We'll then stop your membership at the end of your trial and you won't be charged.

So it's free for 6 months, as long as you cancel before the 6th month is up.

Gazzie, I also read that on their website when signing up. Sometimes it's a benefit to read the small print!
Even if you had to pay the £6.99 monthly charge for the remaining 6 months of their 12 month term, this works out as
£6.99x 6= £41.94
Divided over the 12 months (where you paid nothing for 6months) this would make it £3.49 per month for anytime delivery.
Given that Tesco etc. charge upto £6 per delivery, I don't see it as a bad deal.
Of course, there is a minimum spend... far too easy to do with Ocado, but apparently they "price match" to Tesco.
I'm sure it'll be pointed out that Waitrose deliver free over £50, but I like the choice of Ocado label as well as Waitrose branded products.

Totally agree great service, I like the way they itemise things in relation to the use by date and where they are stored is listed. They even pack nicely to make the job easier.

Some great deals and a mixture of high quality goods with every day essentials at less than tesco prices. The delivery works out too price wise. We mix shopping at Aldi every two weeks with ocado delivery for nice stuff and we'll see how we get on! Not been doing this long enough to work out whether we have it right for us!
