The 'smooth' and the '350g' part of the description would lead me to believe that the word 'juice' should actually be 'sauce'. Good deal if anyone else is able to get it.

If the SEL says 1p, there's very little chance finding these in stock as the ordinary (non hukd) punters will have snapped these up.

It's usually the unmarked prices and price errors that are worth pursuing

Doubt anyone will get this in other stores as when items get marked at 1p its to tell staff to remove them and skip them, not all staff are aware and put the labels out and leave the stock out too. Each square foot of shelf space has to make them x amount of profit or its gone.

OP

not bad for 1p

I like how you say 'not bad' for something that is 99.95% off

goodluck finding it

Top quality

350g? Why not 350ml?

Is this a 'juice'?

Never heard of smooth cranberry juice before.

Previous post: hotukdeals.com/dea…236

sorry but it"s cold as you"ll never get any unless your there when they put it on the shelf ..

got this deal a couple of months ago when last on here

Sounds like a good deal but can't be bothered going out.

Still i'll give you a hot ckick.

Is this the cranberry sauce or juice? The sauce comes in 350g jars tesco.com/gro…616 but you say its juice. The g/ml thing has confused me. Hope its the juice

Ocean Spray make Cranberry JUICE, i've never heard of them making sauce.

Besides i would trust the OPs description of Juice as Sauce and Juice are two very different things.

and the 1p thing is not supposed to be removed from shelf, they even made a public message about that sometime back, its just a way to clear unsold backstock.

A Tesco spokesman said: “This is no computer glitch. These are discontinued products which have gone beyond the “reduced to clear” period.

“Our view is it is better these items are sold rather than being thrown away.

“It is completely random as to whether people come across the 1p items. But there are going to be some lucky customers out there who find the most amazing bargains.”

Products which become discontinued become discounted by 25 per cent, then 50 per cent, then 75 per cent until a time limit runs out at which point the item is marked down to 1p.

Because they are two different things, ml is the volume of an item where as grams is the weight... (sorry i had to)

Bought some two weeks ago, if in stock bargain! Use by date is 2012

The 1p price is to allow the store to clear stock without costing them. i.e. at full price it has cost to the store if it's skipped at 1p the cost is negligible. Each store has a bottom line cost to account for, hence the reduction.

They can choose to leave the stock out or sometimes they sell it off to staff. Generally though most stores don't leave it out and 1p pricing labels are often mistakes where staff don't know better.
