Popped into Bexleyheath HMV and it was only £12, bargain at £4 a film on blu ray. Especially when £16.95 is the cheapest elsewhere.

Got to say the transfer quality is not the best but still an obvious improvement from DVD. Hot from me at this price.

I would agree with that, disappointing.

£20 in Norwich today - but I'll check again tomorrow as they seem to be reducing stuff in stages.

Even the HD was a bad transfer. I don't think they had much to work with. 12 looks awful on every format.

But it is £9 on DVD anyways thus an extra £1 per film on blu Ray is well worth it still.

Yeah I can upload the photo of the receipt if needed, it didn't have a sale sticker on it however.

First time I've seen a post on here for a store that's local to me

Would you really want 12 and 13 though. Oceans 12 was such a poor film, it put me off watching 13. So effectively you are paying £12 for Oceans 11

Depends on your take, I don't think they're that bad. Not for £4 a film, certainly not worth £7-8 a film for example.

Oceans 11 is good, 12 is shocking bad, but 13 isn't to bad (not like 11 but enjoyable to watch) so at this price your getting 1 awesome film 1 not to bad and 1 rubbish film. So pretty hot.

surely a contradiction?

I believe there's also only a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack on these, no HD audio.

Very poor releases.

Transfer is just fine, the grain is intentional - exactly the same as the cinema release.

Many producers decide to leave grain on for effect but I agree, it doesn't always feel quite right on a home TV screen.

There's always one

Actually you can - mythbusters found some people that do it as a hobby.......................... X)

I have to say, these films are the most overrayed pieces of sh** I have ever seen.

Still £20. Personally, I like all 3 films, but now do wonder the merit of buying blu ray if no better than the DVDs which I already own.
