Rick and Morty is the cheapest I've seen it. Havent tried Chronos
    If you don't have them:
    1) Lone Echo is an essential purchase, even at full price. They cracked the feeling of movement. You are a robot fixing a ship in space.
    2) Tilt Brush - painting program. Amazing to move around your creation etc. Add snow, fire, even rainbows.
    3) Rez Infinite is very good at this price, for the feeling of flying around. Especially the new final stage.

Perhaps not for this sale as it's only 20% off, but Sprint Vector is good too - Mario Kart on acid - you move by swinging your arms and can fly too

I think that still needs an Xbox controller - they need to update the game with touch support. It's supposed to be good as an adventure game.

Do we need to buy the rift from their store?

No, Amazon have this as a promotional message.

Get a code valid for a £50 Oculus Store credit when you purchase the Oculus Rift and Touch Controllers Bundle

archangel was pretty fun while it lasted. It's an on-rails type shooter, but you're a giant mech and the story is better than you'd expect. worth the 11 quid imho - especially if you got the free 11 quid store credit for the 2 day downtime that oculus had because of their incompetent devs allowing a security cert to expire

I wanted lone echo, but it's only down 10% to 27 quid... looks like I'll keep waiting
Bought Monzo VR (model building) and grabbed Tilt Brush.

    Anyone tried Box VR?

Yes, it's a good workout, but I'd like to see more music tracks and environments. It has a indie developer/early access feel. Sales have been good so they're expanding and working on more content for the game. You punch approaching coloured balls, different colours require different punches (side punch, block, uppercut etc). There isn't anything better at the moment for boxing training, so if you're interested I'd grab a copy.
    Will these work on vive?

I was moving towards buying it so it didn't take much arm twisting here, thanks :-)

yes there is a plugin called revive for steamvr that lets you play all oculus games on a vive or mixed reality headset. just check compatibility before you buy as some stuff works bette than others, i have dead and buried and robo recall working flawlessley on my MR headset though and havent found anything that dosen't work yet.
This Game THE WIZARDS looks good. It was only out last month, so good time to grab a sale bargain.

FYI, don't buy on Steam. One of the very few games which is on both stores but on Steam with not run on Oculus SDK and as such not as smooth an experience.

The game itself is great fun, but an experience really. Prob an hours play, wouldn't pay more than £10-£15 if you're a big fan. Otherwise prob only worth a fiver

For anyone that hasn't bought Lone Echo and waiting for a price dive. I say this is the one game you really should just get, hell how much you pay for you Rift, then the gaming machine? Sub £30 for one of the breakthrough games. Did you wait for a sale on DK, Tetris or Mario 64 when they came out?!

I mean if a game is in steam for oculus and hive. And I buy it through oculus. Won’t it just work in vive as if I bought it on steam?

You'll enjoy it. It's a great cardio exercise. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and spend about an hour on it each time. End up sweating like crazy. There's supposed to be an update on the way to add more to it. Think I paid £15 for it and am very happy with it.

Short answer is no, Oculus store is entirely different from Steam,
For example just as if you bought Sims 3 on EA's Origin service, you won't be able to press play and go through Steam.

Long story: tho i don't own the Vive, I assume it is native to steam, and uses SteamVR as it's front end. Oculus on the other hand always has Oculus Home running, and when playing Steam VR titles, you end up having the game running under steam VR, which then gets sent to the Oculus Runtime. (Which they've graciously allowed as majority of people own steam games)
Oculus doesn't allow other headsets connect to it's home store, if you play a game brought from the Oculus Store, it doesn't open Steam VR - as they're not steam games - however there are third party programs like ReVive which handle this handover

Does anyone know how I can claim my free games? I got a Rift for Christmas but can't use it because I don't have the specs I need to run it yet (I have a GTX 780M, upgrading soon.) But I don't want to miss out on the free titles in case the offer ends before I get to upgrade.

I'd try and get a cheap 970 to set up your rift, they are sometimes £130 You should contact Facebook about when the offer expires to claim your games.

Have you actually tried using it? Apart from the onscreen warning it ran fine on my old GTX760.....
Anywhere doing the £50 credit with any discount on the £399 price?
eg Currys have 5% quidco but no mention of this deal
Do we know when the store sales will end?
