This is the best game I've played in VR, its better than real life. It sounds stupid saying that, but unlike in real life, you don't have to go around picking up the ball! The gameplay is as close to the real thing as you'll get.
Awesome. Been tempted by this a few times. Worth trying for free. Cheers OP.
I agree, excellent game, near impossible against the AI but I played it with someone off a forum for hours and loved it, its half price on Humble as well a tthe moment if anyone decides to buy it

Completely agree. I sucked in real life, but then I played this, and in practice, you can strike the ball and immediately generate a new ball by squeezing for a ball in your non-dominant hand, really natural. I just did that over and over till I learned some basic techniques, which didn't take long. Then went and played in real life and I was infinitely improved.

It's a very therapeutic game too I find, time disappears in there
It's the game I've spent the most time inside. Can beat semi pro but professional just takes the p**s. Never picked a ping pong paddle up in my life either.
Just downloaded and played this after seeing this post, first motion sports game I've ever played that feels legit
I love this game. First game which made me happy that I owned VR

Yet I struggle with professional, despite there being players who play several tiers above.

I can best him, but only if I do my "perfect" serve, which is typically an ace 4/5 with the other bring a fault. And sometimes pro hits starting edge of table when trying a fancy serve.

Best tip I have is practice keeping it slow and working the two far corners but also the near sides too, you'll find you'll be able to hit the areas acurately before long and at Pro and below, it doesn't punish you for given him too much time to strike the ball and rewards you for placement
