Standalone virtual reality headset

Jump into virtual reality without needing to connect to a thing. Oculus Go is the easiest way to explore VR - you don't need a gaming PC or console to get started. Simply switch the headset on and put it on. That's it. Then you're ready to play games where you really feel like the main character, watch your favourite Netflix shows on a huge 180” screen and explore new worlds in a stunning way.

With 32 GB of storage space you can save 3 HD films, 10 games and 20 apps.

Surround sound audio

Feel surrounded by audio that will make every game and experience that much better. The Oculus Go has speakers built into the headset, so you can immerse yourself in surround sound without getting tangled in cables. Prefer to wear headphones? The Go has a 3.5 mm jack, so you can easily plug in.

Crystal-clear lenses

Good VR depends on good lenses, which is why the Oculus Go has crystal-clear optics - so everything you see looks vivid and realistic. The lenses have a wide field of view, so you won't be distracted by the screen ending in your peripheral vision.

Wear glasses? The Oculus Go includes a unique spacer so you won't feel like your glasses are being pressed into your face.

Comfortable design

The days of being a sweaty mess after wearing a VR headset are gone. Made using breathable fabrics, the Oculus Go is light and comfortable to wear, with soft and adjustable straps that hold the headset securely in place, without bothering you.

Navigate around, jump back to the menu and draw your weapon easily – all with the included controller.

Features:

  • Personal Viewing: The littlest, big screen. Crystal clear optics and state-of-the-art 3D graphics make your headset feel more like a personal theatre
  • Viewing with Friends: Watch with friends. Meet up in VR with friends and fans from around the world to catch live sports, concerts, or just your favourite TV show
  • Portable & Easy to use: Ready when you are. Experience portable, all-in-one VR. That means no PC, phone, wires or hassles
  • Controller: Effortless control. Whether it's navigating to your favourite shows or to a far-off land, the intuitive controller makes getting there easy
  • Built-In Audio: Surrounded by sound. Spatial audio drivers are built right into the headset, providing dramatic, immersive sound without the need for bulky or tangled headphones. Oculus Go also features a 3.5 mm audio jack, so how you listen is always up to you

I won’t vote either way, but I really think this is a dead platform going forward. I know it’s nearly three times the price of this, but please consider the Oculus Quest, it’s really is fantastic

Yeah just read up on it and don’t fancy having to fork out over a grand to play 1 game. Let’s hope they port it to the PlayStation VR when it gets a massive power boost with the PS5 🤞🏻
Good price as I've only seen the Oculus Go for around £200 :/

Two totally different products, not everyone interested in VR is bothered about gaming. For watching media the Go is the better device.
Seems to be the same price everywhere... Posted from Argos a week ago...

And Oculus gives a 2 year warranty anyway...

There will naturally be a question around what happens to the EU 2 year warranty when we leave the EU. You’d like to think it will be honoured by Oculus.

Other than that this deal is simply that you can buy from every granny’s favourite brand (JL)...

Save your fuel and time and buy from Argos

If you’re prepared to wait 5 day or pay £6.95... hence the reason I added time 👏

Same day collection, easy experience, price promise, and guarantee are the biggest advantages they compete on. You aren’t getting any of these over buying from Argos in this particular instance.

Interesting. Why is the Go better for watching media ?
So, out of interest, how would you watch a movie on this?

They really aren't totally different products. If you think differenty, you probably should go into detail. By and large, they do the same thing, it just the Quest does it far better in every way, albeit for lots more money.

Once you've gone 6DOF, anything less just doesn't cut it. The same goes for having no wires when compared to PCVR.

If you have a PC and run SteamLink on the Go then yes, Google for experiences doing this. It’s mainly a very nice 3D/360/180 media device and simple VR gaming platform and a really friction free way of trying *good* VR.

I had a Windows Mixed Reality set, tried a GO when setting up for a relatives a Christmas present and loved wirefree VR so much I bought a Quest.
