It's £149 currently at Amazon with free delivery.

It's a good price for a reason. The Oculus go is now a discontinued product and will stop receiving updates within the next year. If someone wants a really good VR experience on a budget, look no further than the Oculus Quest (£399 currently).
It's £149 just about everywhere at the moment, even on the official Oculus site, so assuming you can get it delivered for less than £10.50, then this isn't the best price

For those with a decent PC, you can get some decent Windows Mixed Reality headsets for £150 to £300 which have some pros and cons vs the Quest.

Someone who is willing to spend £150 on a Go won't necessarily jump to spenting £400.

Who told you that nonsense? It's £150 because Oculus are running a Black Friday promotion. The Go still has a few advantages over the Quest/Rift or any other headset. It's cheap, extremely comfortable, fits anyone and is great for watching video.

This is not a deal however as Scan (as usual) are taking the pee.

Yeah I realised as soon as I posted it was same price as amazon.
Noob mistake
For anyone who wishes to do any VR gaming I'd highly recommend a Quest over the Go.

If you're purchasing purely for watching media then the Go is the best bang for your buck.

I think you have a very different idea of the meaning budget.
