If you can’t afford an Oculus Quest then this is the next step down but it’s still a great device.
I had this first then upgrade to the Quest however I miss this device for how comfy it was to wear while watching films/tv shows in bed but in a cinema experience unfortunately the Quest a heavy and doesn’t had material straps so not good to wear while laying down.
Reasons to get:
Want to watch media in bed without tv or have the tv on to wake spouse.
Away on trips to watch stuff. I even used it on the plan imagine got some looks however I couldn’t see them but made the flight go quick as watch a film without feeling like trapped on a plane.
Same goes for hotel or stays away.
Good for some VR gaming: elevator to the moon, virtual virtual reality to name a couple! Gaming side is what made me go to the Quest as it night and day to be able to move around and use your hands.
However I did sideload some apps on to my go to be able to remote play my Xbox locally and also access my PC from anywhere in the world as if I was sat at my pc!

Just looking at this. Has gone this price everywhere.
Been keeping an eye on these for a few weeks. It's not going to go any lower than this. Got mine ordered

Might do, the £150 is an Oculus promo, ebay could see a further discount over the weekend.

As a complete noob to the vr. I was very close to ordering Sony vr last year except amazon messing my order up 3 times. Sigh!
anyway a few of the reviews saying it’s better than the Sony vr?!? Just like some feedback! Is this true??? Thanks in advance! 😁
I ordered last week for my son's birthday at 199. I messaged Amazon and they wouldn't refund the difference but told me to return the original and re-order. Bit silly really and a bit of hassle but I've done it.
Definitely worth it to return and re-order for a £50 saving
You can also get the the 64GB version with the £50 deduction for £199.

Sony PSVR is for playing games, the Go is for watching porn, or movies in bed as some people like to put it

Both are great.

Been looking at getting one of these but not sure if it's worth getting the 64gb version or not? The kids will be wanting to play games on it so how much space do these take up? Also when watching films how do you do this have they got to be loaded on to it? Is it possible to watch the TV via it somehow? Also can you charge and use it at the same time as I've heard the battery run time compared to charge time isn't that great?

Sorry for all the questions
bit of a novelty. ordered on a whim, used about a few times now ghathering dust.

I had the 32gb version and didn’t manage to fill it up with apps when I had it. Films I had on a external that connected via my WiFi or over the internet with my plex server.
Netflix and amazon videos apps are available from memory.
It’s got a Web browser so most catch up services can be access via this.
The films can be loaded into the device via the usb cable and computer.
Can charge and use at the same time battery lasts about 2/3hrs.

Must admit I'm feeling a bit like this and we've had it less than a week. Not that I'm dissing my own deal or anything
