Are these any good ? How much better are they than a gear vr & how much worse are they than a rift or vive. Thanks.

They are better than gear in that they you don't have to use a phone, resolution is higher than the Rift but as with all LCD it looks washed out compared to the OLED in the Rift and very washed out compared to AMOLED in gear, Vive pro or Samsung Odyssey. It's by far the best VR experience you'll get for £150.
Presumably these are being discounted in preparation for the Oculus Quest?

The Quest will not replace the GO, Oculus run discounts throughout the year. Most likely never see this at £150 again.
Got Oculus Rift, debating whether to get this for portability.....decisions decisions
Own a Rift but what's the deal with software support on this?

Can you play PokerstarsVR for example?

I had a rift, purchased a Go at release and sold it within 2 months. Not much point if you already have a Rift or any other VR headset. For £150 though don't suppose it matters if it doesn't get much use.
If you suffer from motion sickness don't buy this.

Cheers for the info... I have a gear vr & also a galaxy S8 plus which works fine & pretty clear with a few apps I've played off the phone...But I've seen a few YouTube vids with people using Riftcat with games like project cars & it does look great.... how much better will these cheaper setups be than my s8 plus. Thanks again.
