If you haven’t bought one by now you may as well wait, it’s been a lot cheaper and will be again.

Not voting either way, has been £360 with a code on eBay before.

"A lot cheaper" might be slightly exaggerating. I think the lowest it's ever been is 360 with a voucher. This is still a decent price, although I'm holding out for a decent boxing day saving 🤞🤞
I don't think it'll go down below this price to get it before Christmas and one of the best things about it is sharing VR with family and friends.

Well never mind the price in the past, this is the cheapest at the mo, and in time for Xmas, hot from me!

No stock anywhere
Think this will be the best pre-Xmas price. As many have said stock aint that great and it one of the hottest gifts this year.

I'd buy, you have two weeks to return for full refund.

Star Trek was released today too

It's great fun! I just feel like a bit of an idiot with a big box strapped to my face.

Mine gets used all the time in my house. I barely get a look in! Originally a day 1 owner of PSVR, and the Quest absolutely blows it out the water in my opinion. Enjoy!
It is even more realistic when you use it outside in a large field, amazing to actually walk around levels in person or just have the whole virtual tennis court to run around in.
And to think I almost bought for full price last night! Have some heat!

I'm really interested to see how the Oculus Link evolves

I'll use this 5% code on a Time Machine to transport me back to May then.

I was thinking of getting the PSVR instead of Quest. Mainly due to the lack of multiple logins or saves on the the quest. As a family, how are you getting on without these options? Cheers.

Why don’t you use your real time machine to wait and go forward for a better discount code.

As pointed out, it’s been cheaper multiple times but feel free to buy now at a more expensive price smart guy.

Had mine a few days. Nice piece a kit. Noticeable difference with Quest link and mods. Nice find OP

If it's not a massive stretch for your budget, I'd say it's worth paying the extra £40 (from the extremely rare best price) to have it to share with family and friends over Christmas. (I know I'm repeating myself but I can't wait to bring mine home for Christmas) Showing new people VR is just amazing.

A tip for a free thing to blow people's minds in VR - just go on the home screen and get them to look around the awesome dome, then get them to walk to the edge of the guardian (guiding them to somewhere save) and then walk through the wall so they see the real world in pass through instead. They'll often then spend a minute popping their head in and out of the guardian being amazed at it.
Best price I've seen, Occulus have deal to get Vadar immortal included, does anyone know if this applies here?
I believe the offer runs to mid Jan 2020. I picked mine up on sunday and once set up and updated I found all 3 vader episodes showing as purchased in my game library without doing anything.

My point really was that if you’ve already waited 6 months to buy it, then a few more weeks etc won’t hurt. Usual unorganised people leaving Christmas until 1 weeks before.

I’m also expecting eBay to have one last big promo push before Christmas and would expect a site wide code in the next few days.

I found we got by without separate logins even though it's a pain, though you can easily log out and in from the app (but each of you will need to have an account and own the games). The PSVR is far more restricted just from the fact it needs so many wires and a ps4 nearby. The lack of wires with a near-PC experience blows that out of the water and the Link option opens so many doors when linked via a single cable.

Facebook Oculus team said they're looking into multiple users on one account as they know it's a feature most people want.

It’s literally not an issue I’ve run into yet. Maybe I’m not playing the right sort of games, but when you’re playing stuff like Beat Sabre, Vader Immortal, Sports Scramble, or any of the other top games you just kind of pick up and play.

Some games have multiple save files too (e.g. Vacation Simulator) so you can save your own profiles.

Also to add, my PSVR is gathering dust now thanks to the Quest. The freedom that wireless gives you, and the immediacy of the system too. Put the headset on, choose a game and a few seconds later you can be playing.

Whereas the PSVR is a real faff to play it feels, and the tracking on the system is much more inferior too.

To be honest, pick up a PS Move controller in one hand, and a Quest controller in the other, and you’ll immediately know what is the right system to buy.

Feel free to PM if you have any questions I can help with!

How is the sound on it? Earphones needed?
Sound is adequate at best but there is no bass. For immersion I'd say headphones are a must.

Thanks both. I've got the 128gb Model in the wardrobe all sealed from an earlier 10% ebay code.
My PS4 Pro Death Stranding LE order has just been cancelled by Game due to OOS, so that along with your feedback means I'm keeping the Quest. Looking forward to xmas day cheers lads.

Good choice. I'm bringing mine down to my parents at Christmas, my kids already have great fun with it. The link is ok, worth ordering an Amazonbasics 3.1 to USB C cable (3M) as well to use that (assuming you have a half decent PC or laptop with fast USB, though the sfotware is still a beta so it will improve.
