Oculus are running a deal for the next couple of weeks giving £100 Oculus Store credit when you purchase a Rift VR + Touch Bundle.

Deal is valid at Scan and others but Amazon have the cheapest price.

Plus I think you still get a few games on top like Robo Recall.

Seems like a good time to take the plunge..

Was going to hold off for the Vive 2 next year... But then I tried bridge crew.

Life changing.

A vr headset and gaming pc is a legitimate business expense isn't it?

I want VR but not at these prices.

With scan and game you also get free games so although 20 quid more you might want those games.

I wouldn't order through GAME. During the 1 day sale for the HTC Vive, I ordered it through them, and they sent me a launch edition, meaning I got the heavier headset and didn't get the 3 in 1 cable that comes as standard today.

I emailed them, and they told me to send it back and they'll swap it. I specifically asked them that if they couldn't swap it, that I wanted them to send it back and NOT to refund.

They refunded... and now it's £100 more expensive everywhere.

Last time I buy something big from GAME.

If you're spending serious money like this on VR then go for the Vive, it's just a far better overall product with less hassle for roomscale.

Suspect the next iterations to be 18 months with improved visuals and ergonomics, plus wireless which is just around the corner.

Worth noting that Fallout 4 VR is a separate SKU; a new, separate, $60 game. Not a free upgrade for existing owners.

For people who have waiting this long already; considering these prices, they may as well wait for a hardware refresh, too.

I prefer the Vive as well, but there's really not much in it between the Rift and the Vive, mate. Certainly the Rift being so much smaller and lighter could certainly sway a lot of people.

Yeah. They said they can't because the deal is gone.

I had thought this too before I ended up buying the Rift. It has been said that Vive is better for roomscale but I can say that the rift has made up for that by much improved support for the 3rd sensor. I have a 3 sensor setup and it is flawless. I prefer the touch controllers to the Vive controller but that's just preference.

$399 on amazon US and 439 euros on Amazon.de and direct from Oculus.com for 399 GBP if Amazon sells out.
