I mean Xbox needs more exclusives too it's a flailing console and has been for a couple of years now. Get a PS4 and have both consoles and get the best of both worlds.

I've got both mate but prefer the xbox by a mile.

the pro is equivalent to a GTX 1070

Now who's living on a different planet.

1060 maybe, but 1070? No way at all. From what I can gather the PS4 Pro has something with similar power to a RX480/580 but has a CPU designed for ultra-portables from 2012.

GPU in the PS4 Pro is 4.2 teraflops
GTX 1070 is 6.5 teraflops

So yeah, as someone who actually owns a GTX 1070, the PS4 Pro is a spud and so is the Xbone One. Bless your heart though, you're only off by a factor of about 55%.

As for being rich? Not really, I'm a 30 year old man though with a good job, so that probably helps. That and I don't have to pay £60 for AAA games, nor do I have to buy a new console every 1-2 years each time Sony and Microsoft decide it's time to milk their fanboys.

Except the PS4 it too much of a spud to handle VR.

Get a PC instead.

Nice find! You must be over the moon.
Did it include the free games from the Oculus store?

Err what?! Pray 4 national

Says used on price. Maybe one or two are unused and just open boxes.

Nice find OP.

It says "Used equipment" so there was probably only one available. Good find, but not really a deal

You are able to download the free games regardless.

*Edit* I have just done some quick research. The games won't come with a 2nd hand Oculus.

Are you sure?
If the headset & touch controller serials have already been registered to an Oculus account (part of the installation process), I doubt you'll get them automatically.
Even if the original owner has unbound the devices, the free software is only given upon 1st registration of any given device.
You might be able to argue some keys out of Oculus CS..... but they're not the most accommodating of CS.

This is more of a bragging post. Which is much deserved, dammit.

I've put in a price match request.

Great, now need to find a used gaming PC with 1080Ti for £300 to run it

You live on a differnt planet than the rest of us? I am part of the master race but even I am not that deluded. The PSVR has more quality titles than PC. The headset works on both PC and PS4 and the headset has little to no screen-door effect oh and the pro is equivalent to a GTX 1070.. So if you think a GTX 1070 is a potato then I ask why is a rich boy like you looking for deals?

To be honest when I bought mine I just downloaded the apps. So I "assumed" that it shouldn't matter. But after reading your comment I'm not so sure now. What you are saying does make sense.

Captain obvious is that you?

No! it's me!

Is the new mixed reality headsets better than the rift now?

I saw this in there on Friday. Wished I had the money this month as it was a great price!

Still not as good as the new one I grabbed from Amazon.

£399 with £200 of Oculus store credit, and with the Xbox controller and remote as was standard.

does it still come with the 200 pound credit?

Used to work at JL - that’s a local markdown so that won’t be nationwide but good find never the less.

Fyi, some of the he games.will not come with the Rift if it was previous registered, if it wasn't you'll get all. But there is still a lot of content that comes free regardless.

To find out which, just sign up for an account (don't need to have an Oculus to do that) go to store/experiences and see which games are free. i.e., Echo Arena is free, as is Lucky's Take even if registered previously. Search for the game you're wondering about, it will either have a price or not.

Windows ones aren't anywhere near the quality of the Rift, in particular the controllers and content

Well if all you want to do is play sitting VR games then these would work quite well i suspect, right up there with the DK1, and there is nothing wrong with that, but, they do not offer roomscale 3 diminsional tracking as the Ruft or Vive offer with their external room sensors, so at present these offer a limited vr experience, and at the price they cost you would be better just getting a rift, and double that if you can grab them at this price.

Oh and Heat for this deal.

Can these be used with Xbox One X?

This isn’t a deal it’s a one off, sounds like someone has bought it taken it home and changed mind JL then mark down, bought a fridge freezer in there today at 51% off - customer return, brand new

PS4 pro owner here. It's a nice console with some grade a exclusives from likes of naughtydog but performance on a par with gtx1070? You gotta be joking, more like gtx 970 or amd equivalent. Of course that does not tell the whole story consoles punch above their weight compared to similar specced pcs but even so.........
I was gutted with the specs of PS4 and xb1. PS4 pro and Xbox Scorpio is more like what I was expecting. You are way wrong about the quality of vr on pc. Lone echo, elite dangerous and assetto corsa on pc are a cut above anything on PSVR. Some genres I will never play on flat screen again

Drive club vr shows the problem with psvr (not played it only seen it so it may play well)

But like I said, PS4pro IS a nice console for the price, esp at the moment, just wish Sony had not skimped on uhd bluray

I hate the pcmaster race memes tho, such arrogance about videogames and the BS people say about console gamers. It puts all people who play videogames in a bad light and makes me think of the comic book guy in the simpsons
Edited by: "bigmike20vt" 26th Nov

Am so tempted by this. Am hoping to have a PSVR by the end of the year as it has plenty of titles available I want to play now. My plan was to buy a VIVE in the summer of 2018. But this seems like a steal.

Has anyone tried using the PSVR on PC? I know it's not officially supported. But programs like Trinus VR gets the headset to work on PC. Plus programs like Driver4VR to get the PS Move controllers up and running. Watching video's on youtube seems to suggest it works very well. But I want to hear people's experiances with it.

I genuinely laughed my head off when I read that too. Guy claims he's part of the "master race" yet thinks the Pro's GPU is comparable to a 1070
. Even the Xbox X would only be comparable to a 1060. And it has vastly better specs wise than the Pro.

The platform really needs a bunch of half baked tech demos

Why is this voted so hot? A specific store and 1 unit sold?!

How on Earth anyone votes a single item in a single store hot is beyond me... People just read the title and click these days. Here was me, heart all a flutter opening the post... Then all my hopes dashed.

No they don't, it's a sinking ship, especially on console. The conversion rate on PSVR has been terrible considering how many people own the console. The majority of PS4 owners have no interest in it and Xbox have a far smaller market share to target anyway.
