You have to pay 75p per ticket to use them as they cannot be used in-cinema so the price is slightly misleading.

It’s 2 tickets for £11.50 or 5 tickets for £23.75.

Soon you will have to pay to use a checkout at Tesco.
75p for online booking is comical.
Is it cheaper to buy via a human in the cinema?
They should refund 75p, not charge it.
Pathetic.
Our odeon is £5 a ticket all the time anyway?
akexuk14/01/2020 13:05

Shocking. Hopefully you will find better things to do.

We ended up making a baby lol. Works out cheaper paying for a child than seeing a movie once a month at our local Odeon. How crazy is that!

Decent tcb
kriscros13/01/2020 22:05

Even better on quidco

Would still go with tcb unless it was drastically better as I get paid out way quicker on there and it's a smoother experience overall

It may be cheaper to purchase a ticket in cinema than this deal but that depends on the cinema.
Odeon prices its tickets based on competition - if they’re the only game in town, or one of two charging similar prices - then expect to pay £10+ for peak times.
Many inner city Odeons only charge £5 flat rate to get a market share.
I think Dorchester has one of the lowest priced tickets as it has a local independent cinema about 300 yards away and none of the locals wanted Odeon to set up there.
A ticket is £3.75 to see 1917 at peak time.

I'm not sure if this included so thought i ask the hotukdeals community. One Piece Stampede is a one night premier date as far as i'm aware and normally these are excluded however the description states any movie. Anyone know the true answer.

Fairly certain that these films are classed as ‘Event’ screenings and usually excluded.
Same would go for their special screening of Weathering With You.
You could try your luck though - it all depends if someone has programmed it correctly with the appropriate price bracket at each individual cinema showing it.

The one near mine in Swiss Cottage is about £16 a head, so £5.75 is a steal

London prices, innit.
Technically you could watch some great niche films just off Leicester Sq at their Haymarket Luxe on Panton Street for £5.75, too.
Not bad price is about £10/11 here per ticket.
My local Odeon is a Luxe now so the cheapest tickets are £12! I've used this deal before and it's great! Just got two more. Thanks.

They have a monopoly in Mansfield and charge extortionate prices (£13.75 for 1917 today), despite the screens being rubbish, the sound equally as bad, and the seats being the same uncomfortable ones fitted 20 years ago with no leg room (although they have in the past couple of months fitted an Imax/Lie-max screen, not sure whether this is any good). For this reason I've boycotted them and travel to showcase in Nottingham if there's anything I want to see.

If an Odeon doesn't have any competition they can continue to charge extortionate fees.

This is what our Odeon wanted to charge me and my wife to see Aquaman.

£40 for 2 Star Wars tickets in Bournemouth
Great deal OP, can anyone confirm if this will be valid on 20th March 2020 - a quiet place 2 comes out that day.

Not the whole story though, is it?

That's an IMAX screen and includes Gallery concessions ie. Extra Large chair, legroom and ALL you can eat nachos, popcorn and drinks.
And your booking fee. and their blockbuster pricing which I think was £1.50 extra for Aquaman.

At £26 a pop I think that's fair.

It’s still steep, only time I paid a blockbuster pricing was for interstellar, well worth the price!

Lucky you. Mines £12.
"Tickets can be used in one visit or spread across multiple trips to the big screen."

Last time I booked these and tried to use the 5 individually i only got one voucher and after using it it wouldnt then allow me to use it again for another 4 visits. Had to complain to groupon who eventually gave me some compensation.

Did anyone who did it last time actually get 5 individual vouchers?
Well I suppose it’s ok if you don’t want to watch any of the movies on the exclusion list.

Heat for the price but no use for me as anything I would like to see is excluded.

39673886-8WXH4.jpgWell, it says you get individual vouchers.
I'm sure like always there will be exclusions, which tend to be the movie you want to watch.

That wasn't for the Gallery though. It was for IMAX but still nearly £55 for two people to see a film is extortion. Also you know what they say about making assumptions.
Free for me courtesy of Groupons misprice a few months back (£10 free groupon credit as a gesture)

Always worth a misprice gamble

It's ridiculous right? In Brighton we don't have many cinemas so the cheapest showing is around £13 which is over twice the amount my friends who live in Zone 2 in London, as well as back in Bedford pay at only £5 a ticket (and their cinemas are better).

IIRC: I only got a single code when I ordered the five pack.

I used the first ticket, managed to get an agent to tweak the system to get me the ticket for my second film. Two days later they cancelled the entire purchase, refunded my groupon purchase so I got to see two films for 75p each.

Very odd! Though a bargain is a bargain.
