Just checked the HSBC Advance Rewards offers page (as was looking for the Morrisons reward, that sadly doesn't seem to appear for me.)

However upon clicking the Odeon reward I realised that the limitless card is also included in the "up to 38% off" offer - its only £156.05 for 12 months vs £215.88 for the standard price (a 27.3 % saving) You can also book standard ticket prices at quite a chunky saving.

NB - that's excluding central London cinemas. It doesn't look like you can buy a card including central London via this offer (although you can buy discounted standard tickets for Central London)

NB - you need a HSBC Advance account to be eligible for this offer, but thought I'd post anyway as it will hopefully help some folk!

That's relies on at least 16 good films coming out to break even doesn't it?
Vue near me only charges £4.99 a film and you can combine this with meerkat movies
Yes - you'd have to go to the cinema a lot to make it worthwhile (and have an Odeon close by)
Personally I don't go enough to justify the unlimited card for myself.

None the less Odeon is the UKs biggest cinema chain, and I know there's lots of people who do go far more than I and buy these cards - my brother and his wife have them for example.
I don't think I've ever seen the limitless card discounted before (could be wrong) so for some people this could be a big saving!
Almost wish I had an account.
as a comparison for others, or people that do not have HSBC but may have Perks at Work

Odeon limitless through Perks = £167.52 (excluding central London)
or 1 x Adult ticket = £7.42 (outside M25)

You'd have to have very high standards for this to not be the case. I've seen 23 films already in 2019, mainly 4* or above.
Also £156 with a blue light card. But seeing as their tickets are £7.73 it would take 20 films to break even.
Odeon Norwich only £5 a go now anyway

Vue is sh it though. They leave the lights on during the film.
If you go through the take time out offer that was on HSBC Avanced Rewards you get this deal for £150 (not a vast saving but equals your snacks for a couple of goes)
Oooh my mums with HSBC. Think I need to get a bigger Mothers Day gift
I paid around £110 from someone selling a spare one on ebay. Odeon Bournemouth is a fab cinema and charges £12+ so I’ve been saving quite a bit the last 7 months.

However with myVodafone offering a weekly deal of £7 for two tickets it’s going to be hard to justify renewing Limitless even at the posted offer.
Looking to switch bank accounts, do these deals normally last long with HSBC. i.e. do you think it will still be an offer once I have competed the switch? Thanks
