why cold? its about time other cinemas were doing the same as cineworld!!!

Have some heat, now I have to pick between this or cineworld ;-)

Shame they cant get this fee down to a more reasonnable area say £10 p/m and offer some discount on anything bought inside. My local cinema is an odeon its just a shame their movie fees are so crazy i opt to drive 5-10miles and save some ££ using alternative cinemas.

Can you guys actually see this on the Odeon website?

How/where do you sign up for this?

Is this publicly available? Can't see it on their website and if it's a trial/beta it's presumably only offered to certain customers?

I guess that this is a step in the right direction, although the price does seem a bit steep compared to the likes of Cineworld. Still, Odeon have been pretty ridiculous with their pricing recently, especially the current £1 'Blockbuster' charge - seriously, that one boils my blood! My local has also just changed 'cheap Tuesday's' to 'cheap Monday's'... and upped the price by a couple of quid in the process.

What does this mean for Odeon Points though? That's another where the points required to redeem a free ticket has risen dramatically over the last few years.

Any chance we could see a bigger picture OP? Would be good to read through the details.

With Cineworld doing a similar kind of package for £16.40, this seems roughly on par. With the average ticket never short of £10, this seems fairly good if it is to be true. Although I know what you mean, I'm sure it would go like hot cakes if it was that cheap.

Any actual hard evidence of this? Any screenshots of an email or similar? Or is this literally just word of mouth and just gossip?

Correction: Just looked at their Twitter feed and all I can see is an introduction of this scheme at the moment in their Brighton Branch.

@CinemaDan A new Limitless card has been introduced in ODEON Brighton. This is an unlimited card. To purchase this, please visit this branch

I was given a leaflet inside odeon wrexham. The picture was taken from the leaflet, it has all the information on. The deal is not online but can be redeemeded in store, just ask about Odeon Limitless in your local store.

Ask in your local Odeon about Limitless

It's instore only

I use the meerkcat offer on Tuesday or Wednesdays for me and my lass. So its only £7.95 a film.

So this would cost £198 for us for 6 months, unless you can combine it with the 2-1 offers.

Are you able to upload a bigger picture of the leaflet in the comments so people are able to see the details etc if that's okay? I may pop down later, but it may save some people a visit.

It used to work that way when they had Orange Wednesday and people used their Cineworld Unlimited card, so it could possibly be combined. I wouldn't be certain though since this is a different card and offer. Shall have to wait and see or ask Odeon.

thanks for the reply I couldn't find anything near me so this makes more sense now. Just have to wait for this to be rolled out. Hopefully it won't be licked down to one cinema either one it's rolled out and like fireworks one can be used at any.

So far it's in beta test, wrexham and Brighton.

Many Odeon cinemas charge around £5 or £6 per ticket every day so this might not be a good deal for them unless their cinemas are going to increase prices.

Also...3D and Premier seats are included.

Hull Odeon is like that scene in Ghostbusters when Venkman gets slimed.

Definitely available in Stoke, went last night, advertised everywhere

Does this include IMAX?

I'm thinking cold compared to what I get with Cineworld. Cheaper monthly and 25% off kiosk sales. Granted they charge for 3D, but personally I don't like 3D.

amazing! I have been a cineworld card holder since 2002 (when it use to be UGC) and its about time odeon did the same!

After reading the terms, I'm confused about the food bit....

3) Food and drink at cinema (if applicable). You agree that you … 3) Food and drink at cinema (if applicable). You agree that you will:a) Present your card at the start of your food / drink order.b) Use your card only in respect of food / drink you are purchasing for your own personal use.

Hopefully they'll include something about that

I would assume you add around £5 or thereabouts for IMAX/ISENSE.
Cineworld unlimited holders have to add £5.40 to watch a film in IMAX.

£99 a year is less than £10 a month. Why would any business offer a service for unlimited use a month for less than one cinema ticket? Last time I went to the Odeon it was £11 a ticket. Non 3d!

Seems good to me if you go frequently

At £99 for 6months the price comes down to £16.60 p/m. Which is only 0.20p more than cineworld. This is great, hopefully VUE will get into this as they're much closer to me. I could go more frequently than the cineworld.

Only perks cineworld now has is their £0 charge for 3D, 25% off of cinema food and drink, and there wide range of discounts with restaurants around their cinemas.

Seems a good deal considering I've just paid £25 for a ticket to the Odeon Lounge tonight!

Cineworld were doing this too, not a bad deal if you're a movie fan.

i would expect Odeon to be free 3D and potentialy IMAX as they need to compete. Then again, not many films are filmed using IMAX camera's (or partly filmed - as that is what most of them are).
IMAX is a pretty big con.

Just called them and its only a trail in 4 cinemas at the moment. Hope they roll it out nationwide as no cineworlds in n-ireland

can anyone tell me if there is a minimum contract etc i know cineworld you have to be subbed for at least 12 months
