Are game starting to go down the same route as Grainger?
No chance it's sealed, I bought one in store a week or so ago and it wasn't.
"Whether it's sealed or not, well, it's Game..." what a stupid thing to say. down voted for that remark.

you do realise they have to open it. you can't display a product, espeially this kind of game without showing consumers you've actually got it. Especially this kind of game that frankly doesn't appeal to mass consumers. NEWSFLASH these kind of games do not receive an unlimited supply of dummy sleeves.

not just a game thing either, any games specialist retailer open a few copies to display, thus informing any customer they have said product. Most consumers, if they don't see something advertised on the shop floor, they assume they haven't got it. this applies to all brick and mortar video game shops. e.g there's a smaller chain of game shops in somerset called insane games. they do the same thing. then there's another group called planet games exchange, yup they do the same thing too.

& what on earth do you expect from a game, that's 6 months old & likely had a tiny print run.

'oh but it's from their website' where do you think they source copies from when the website runs out? ...their stores and if they're the last two copies that store has they're going to be open. as i said above, 6 months old tiny print run, the odds of some of the stock coming from stores with limited stock is higher, than say battlefront 2, which you could pretty much gurantee buying it right now would get you a sealed copy...not a gurantee 6 months from now even on a huge release like that.

rant over.

Generally if they have more than one copy in stock, one is opened and the rest are sealed.

Lesson over

Well... I'm going to vote "hot". And save your comment for supplementary reading material.

WRONG it's 2 with GAME actually. always 2. whether they only have 2 in stock or 600. they always open two. (eg look at a stores back cat of new titles, there'll be 2 of each.) Normally if you only see 1 it means that's ALL the stock they have.

other stores do different things, insane games i refrenced earlier, would open 4+ copies to display on shelves.

Starting? In my experience over the past year or two it's pot luck wether you get Sealed or a store copy (which has been opened)

Those boxed special editions are a joke as you get 3 or 4 stickers on them and a store seal too...

TWO. It's ALWAYS two. Unless it's ONE or maybe even FOUR
Orders.online a few weeks ago and I got a sealed copy.
Legit made a account just to comment, 18 quid is an absolute bargain some major improvments over the orginal release well worth the purchase 103%.
