Oh man, I want this but don't need it!!! I hope this goes out of stock because I'll probably crack by the end of the day!
Great camera, paid 345 for mine. It’s my first DLSR and I couldn’t be happier with it.
Nice spot. Been after D3/5*** to pair up with a 16-85 as a walk around camera and this will do very nicely. Strongly suggest anyone looking to consider the more expensive £419 (£333 with discount) option as it includes the superior VR version of the lens. Heat. Thanks.
+1 Well worth the difference, the auto stepping AF with the VR lens
and even the film/movie shooting, with the VR lens is far superior!
looking for a new camera. last one I bought was Nikon D40 (no laughing at the back)
How does this compare? good investment?
I want to get a Canon 80D but they do not sell it on eBay

From memory the D3XXX range are the entry level Nikon DSLRs, but are still pretty full-featured.

Here's a comparison with your current camera: snapsort.com/com…D40

I had a D5200 for quite a few years and it was great.

Thanks, ordered with VR Lens @ £333
Not a bad deal, managed to pick up the same model with VR lens for £306 on the Amazon deal posted a few weeks back

Thanks, ordered with VR Lens @ £333

You'll not be disappointed. This is the modern day equivalent of your D40. I still use my D70
So is this recommended yeah? I'm after an entry level camera

Link with the VR lens?

Took me ages to find it for some reason it doesn’t come up in the listings on my iPad.

ebay.co.uk/itm…362

£333 after discount, just ordered it
Looks like a fair deal. Ordered the VR. My little TZ60 got sand in the lens last month forcing a replacement. I'm going for a bigger camera this time, hopefully it will not be a mare to use! If any one can link a newbies guide to dslr cameras, please do! Heat added
Can anyone link a decent carry bag, not too bulky? Extra points for Amazon or Argos, need it before Tuesday to take on hols. Cheers

I still have my D50 I got a 50mm prime for it when I bought a d5100, which I am finding limiting and seriously considering the d500 now
The 3xxx series are nice cameras I think it was worth getting a 5xxx due to the fully articulating screen, been very handy
Anyone recommend a good case/bag for this camera and VR lens??
