I have a 2016 Ferrari in my garage, it’s just in my way now as it’s so old - does anyone have time to come and help me to set it on fire?

Hahaha, epic

Even though I’m a Mac user
Check to see if your company also offer home use programme - should be around £10 to get Office through this scheme
Bought an Office 2016 Pro off eBay for a few quid months ago- still working fine.

No it's a permanent license for Office 2016 but you won't get feature updates like you do with Office 365.

That said, it's impossible to sell Office 2016 for this price so its probably a stolen volume key. If/when the license holder detects this it may get deactivated.
Cheaper on Amazon. Used transferred licenses go for about £6 - £10 and aren't from a dodgy company...
No it's not pirated either. It's just transferred.

BTW, do you have Office 365 at work ? You are legally allowed to install up to 5 copies of office 2016 on your machines just log in to your o365 dashboard / OWA and follow the links in the menus to install the apps. My work gave me o365 account and I logged in and saw I could install it on 5 machines. I asked if it was ok to do this at home and was told it's any 5 machines that I log into with my account. Including my home ones.

I'm very suspicious of those supposed transferred office licences....what crazy business would buy Office 2016 Professional (which costs several £100's of pounds) then within 1 year disposes of the computers that they installed it on, complete with the licences? none I suspect, any IT department will wipe the computer's drive before disposal so how do these people recover those Office licences and why wouldn't the original owner just transfer the licence to their new PC's?

I'm not saying the licences won't work but I am very doubtful they're recovered from ex computers.... it makes no commercial sense.
Paid three quid for a key from ebay
I legitimately got 2017 for £10

I was just as skeptical. Office for under a tenner? has to be pirated...
I bought from a seller called Lizenzking in Germany via Amazon UK and I got an official document with it stating about how it is legitimate and that you can contact them to confirm it etc... you get a full invoice/bill of sale and they do state about how the license is obtained.

Anyway, I walked away a happy customer with a copy of Win10 pro and Office 2016 for under £20 and the keys activated and worked. As a software developer, my days of pirating things are long behind me. I only pirated stuff when I was a poor student but now as I work in the same industry I think it's my duty to pay for stuff... but there's nothing wrong with seeking out a bargain.

If it did all turn sour, I haven't lost much money. Was worth the punt. I'd rather buy from them than from some random chinese seller (SCDKeys is hong kong based) but each unto his own. Just pointing out there are some legit avenues to get it cheaper than this and you have the full company contact details and an invoice so you should have some protection as you aren't knowingly buying dodgy software.

Does anyone know where SCDKeys gets their licneses from ?

Also using mac. Also using office 2016. Am a linux software developer, and I'm up for pretty much anything FOSS.
However all the FOSS alternatives to office are , in a word, pants. Got an excel sheet from a colleague? oh lets open it up in Google sheets.... oh the formatting is all completely wrong ? Great.... Ok let's open it up in Libreoffice ... oh what's that non of the macros or formulae work? oh well..

Even MS can make something decent once in a while. Office is one of them. Even online office 365 web versions blow google out of the water. They've been at it a while, and almost every business environment uses them, therefore it makes good sense to keep using it. It's overpriced but if you find a good deal then I think it's worth paying £10 for .
I can see it on ebay for £6.88.Is it legit?
