I found one of these in Tesco for £12 a few months ago. It's good, no point spending more for the other model that Sony make, heat at £13.99.
Same price on Amazon. Has been for a little while because I was going to buy this exact one last week.
Not the official Ps4 one by Sony which is normally £20 to £25...
What’s ‘Official’ about it? It’s not by Sony.
It’s Licensed. Not official. Very misleading.
at least they are the ones that charge for the lower port. USB ports on these can be flakey.

Agreed. There's a difference between the official Sony one and an 'officially licensed' one.
I have this and the sony one (£25). In my opinion this was is better as the controllers slide on much easier whereas the Sony can be very fiddly, even after a few years I accidentally switch the console back on trying to put the controller on charge.

In all honestly these charging stations are not worth buying, got one for secret santa, was just not convenient to use.

How is it not convieniant to use? It sits plugged in and charges your controller so when you get back from doing other things, your controller is charged..

Exactly! I leave both my controllers on the proper official one and now I never worry about it cutting out while playing, how is that NOT convenient?
Not the official one. I have the official one which I bought because at the time the available docks didn't use the proprietory connections on the controller. They used the USB port instead which I didn't like. For £13.99 I'd have this, I think I paid £19.99 for mine.

I thought I was the only one...:)

Annoying that it isn't seamless to use. Still haven't got the knack after 3+ years.

Depends, mine requires another plug socket to be used, surely its worth leaving the ps4 on rest mode and let it charge via USB?

I’ve got one plug socket with a 4 USB hub on it, so I can charge the controllers, a Bluetooth speaker, camera batteries and phone...convenient.
Hopefully better than the last station I tried which had 2 very distracting blue lights on the front of the unit.

Will go with Amazon for the same price, now £14.99, saves me a trip to Argos
