must rate as the most pointless thing ever. To pay 9.99 is crazy but to pay 40 I think you should be thrown in a funny farm
Pointless to non autistic / OCD / anxiety / low attention span people, sure. But for those sufferers it is a godsend. Some days, it can be debilitating for me, and things like this (or that think ink pen) can do a lot to alleviate the problem.

Now, fidget spinners... I really don't see the benefit to those. Does absolutely nothing for my anxiety / attention / OCD. Same goes for other people I know.

It sounds very much like it belongs in a chemist then, not a toy shop on sale for everyone.

Stops me dad biting his nails but drives me mum nuts with the clicking, win?

Must admit once in my hands I subconsciously 'fiddle', so the design does work.

They work in exactly the same way you just need to master single handed, subconscious play. Will do nothing for the hold in one hand whack it with the other brigade which is what most people I see doing.
I've been looking to buy some of these for a while but didn't want to pay the original price in case they turned out to be of little or no use, and I didn't want to buy one of the knockoffs. Now it appears Antsy has licensed the design, the price seems worth giving it a go. The only thing is Smyths won't let you choose a colour, that could be a big issue, so I'll have to look elsewhere.

No, I mean it is too one dimensional to be of much use. When it especially gets bad for me (when I'm literally sitting on my hands to stop myself), having this thing that can only spin is simply not compelling enough. Multi functional is the name of the game, which is why these cubes (and think ink pens) are perfect.

Heck, I'd argue the spin disc on the fidget cubes are far more satisfying and compelling that the spin of a fidget spinner. You have this nice wind up / wind down sensation and there's just more feedback involved. And that's just one side of six.

I picked up a cheap clone from one of the china suppliers and have been very happy with it for 8 or 9 months now, it's not perfect but the buttons for me are the best bits, the spinning disk isn't so nice but everything else works great. Quite good at relieving boredom and more importantly I could have 4 for the price of this one.
