I bought one of these early November when these were on offer a lot.

My unit had major issues with not receiving SMS - for example online banking SMS rarely came first time and had to be re-sent to or 3 times before they finally arrived. Also could never get 4G on this, although the Sony Z5 it was supposed to be replace always got excellent 4G with Vodafone and Sky SIMs. Also has some strange crashes where the phone would not come back to life after going to sleep.

On a plus side, I found battery life very good and could go 2 days between charges, although I'm not a big screen on user. Finger print scanner was very quick and always worked.

It could me 15.00 to send back to China and to get a refund. It did seem a good phone, but with the SMS issue, it was a non-starter for me.

You wouldn't have got 4g as this does not have band 20 which Vodafone rely heavily on. Which would have been very clear from pretty much any post on hear about this phone
Is this phone actually sponsored by Mi6 or is that just marketing nonsense?

Thanks yes I did see a few posts about B20 but most of them seemed to say it didn't matter and they got great 4G.

Too be honest, the H+ service was fast enough for me anyway, although if I was to buy another phone I'd probably only go for band 20 now I know. Although the SMS was a real deal breaker for me, as I reckon only about 40% of them arrived - returns are a nightmare when you have this sort of fault, as all these Chinese sellers want you to make Youtube videos of the fault! How do you make a video of something not arriving?! In the end, without Paypal I'd been stuffed.
I could be wrong but as I understand it Voda might not work but other UK providers will. ?? Try an EE sim?

I know it says that is global version but when you go to descriptions you will see that info and in specifications I can't find that support B20, bit confused.

There is no MI6 with B20 support. On this phone, Global refers to the installed software.

Was this supposed to be for me? You said this on the Redmi 5 Plus thread. I know there is a global rom for the MI6. I never suggested that there wasn't. I also know there is no B20 support. I mentioned it further up this thread.

Not used them to be honest, but I've heard a lot of good things.
Goldway are great.
33196202-4Crk2.jpgI have the 128gb ceramic version which was £50 more. Without doubt, the fastest phone I've ever had as I was on the iPhone brigade until last month. And 4g+ on EE.
Yes it's a lot of money and you're chancing it with the warranty but if you want a phone that beats the latest iPhone for performance but at a 3rd of the price then go for it. And if you're that cut up about the warranty, there are so many policies out there for peanuts which will cover it which if you take into account a cheap SIM only deal will still be a lot cheaper than a new iPhone on contract.

Link? HK Goldway are great, but I can't see it cheaper with them. Sure you weren't looking at the 4GB model?

No, it was the same model, but it was a month ago. The price could have changed many times since then.
