I have bought one when it was more expensive and its the best phone Ive ever had.
I know Samsung's will maybe be better but they are 5 x the price
I just bought another for my son

I've got this phone, best phone I've owned.

Nothing touches it as value for money, my family are all Apple fans, I use Apple for work needs, wife bought the latest Sammy for a contract that will cost her £990. There is no way on earth that her phone is worth the £880 quid over this. I would never pay what my company pays for my Iphone.

The Redmi 4 is a brilliant bit of kit for the money.

It's the Xiaomi 4x with the 5". The Note 4x is different again and 5.5".

Seems a great price but would you end up paying 10% Customs and 20% Vat upon delivery??

There is no import duty on mobile phones only vat at 20% and about £12 handling charge but if you choose aliexpress standard shipping you are unlikely to get caught not guaranteed mind

note 4x is 5,5" and 4 of the 5 models have snapdragon 625 same as this one but no band 20 support

I've recently bought two of these from this seller for my teenage daughters whose iphone contracts had come to an end. They were sceptical because they weren't a name 'known' to them but they now love them! Great quality phones.

I paid a little more for them at the time and opted for the tracked DHL delivery for piece of mind. Paid £18 a piece for customs but overall a cracking phone for about £140 each. Arrived in about 10 - 14 days to the door.

Would definitely recommend both the phone and the service from the seller. Happy days!

are the 5.5" same size as iphone plus?

I've just bought a Sony XZ as Samsung annoy me so much with their laggy implementation of Android. The XZ only cost me £169. I'll send it back if it's rubbish. Also Samsung phones can be ridiculously expensive to replace the screen, S6,S7,S8 costs a fortune if you break the screen, the cheapest place to get the repaired is CPW.

Typing on one here. Miui takes a bit of getting used to, it doesn't like Google contacts and the camera is but for the money, you really can't complain.

You've actually used an image of the 5" Redmi 4X in both this deal and your previous one for the 64GB version. The 5.5" Redmi Note 4/4X has the camera in the middle above the fingerprint reader.

How do you get £100? As it stands $147 is £112 but that's just the standard exchange rate. A credit card exchange rate is going to be less competitive. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm very tempted by this deal....on which note, thanks Sandy for the find.

As mentioned on your own deal for this phone: hotukdeals.com/dea…655
There's B20 and non B20 versions for both the Snapdragon Note 4 and the Snapdragon Note 4X. There's 5 regions that have B20 version. Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia = B20 Redmi Note 4 Global Version. Hong Kong and Taiwan = Redmi Note 4X with B20.

Holding out for the 4/64 version. But heat nonetheless.

No band 20 wont ruin your parade. After all the bleating on here, only noticed the old Galaxy Note 4 I imported never had it, and I never even noticed. It still gets 4g with Three, albeit on Band 3.

This or Bluboo S1 for £125? Had a Redmi Note 2 but disappointed by lack of custom ROMs available, due to MTK cpu on the RN2, no support beyond 5.1
Also a tear down on the RN2 revealed a lot of cloned parts, don't know if Xiaomi have upped their game for the RN4, need to wait and see.

I have a non B20 phone and have replied to sam_of_london's comments where he has falsely stated phones without B20 won't work in UK. My comment was just to point out is more than just the Global Version RN4 which has B20. I wasn't suggesting it was necessary.

Strange that, my unit produces very good photos.

Looking for a black or grey 4GB / 64GB deal.

Also heard there is no compass on these. Does it affect the google map navigation?

Shame no NFC

How do these compare to the traditional, Samsung etc high end phones? I've just lost my S7 edge so gone back to my old HTC One M8 and considering one of these or the 4gb/64gb version but would like some idea of performance in relation to the S7 or M8.

I am interested in the "bluboo s1" and very nearly bought one a few time, but I can find absolutely no evidence of that the phone looks like. how the camera is, etc. Makes me think "does it exist!?" From what I read, Bluboo customer service (or media service) doesn't exist at all. You got research on this device?

Where was £100 mentioned? Some cards get very close to ideal exchange rates (I use Halifax Clarity) though cash back does help reach £100.

Thanks, bought the black one for bro-in-law.

This store's owners are bunch of liars. They will advertise a low price, let people order and then send them a message to to cancel their order in return of a coupon which they promise to apply on a new order with the increased price. When you order the second time and ask them to apply the coupon, they will refuse by saying that there isn't enough margin in sales. Have a long email chain if some one is interested in proof.

My point is, until it was pointed out on this site, I never even saw it as an issue. I've never once thought that my downloads where slow without Band 20.
