Excellent price!

Is this any good? The shape would suggest it wouldn't be too comfortable. It has one handle and the weight of the Wiimote would be shifted further away along the barrel.

I like the idea of a proper gun but it doesn't seem like it would be nice to use for very long.

Between a mate and I we almost completed this game 3 times over the weekend :-D

on order nice one

Have never tried it myself, but gets good customer reviews on Amazon.

One says "Purchased this for House of the Dead: Overkill game and it most definately made the game for enjoyable for me. Back in 2007 I was looking forward to the Wii Zapper only to be disappointed when it required two hands to use and wasn't accurate at all.
This, however, doesn't give you hand cramp, has iron sights! (made of plastic though ;-), good balanced weight and doesn't feel cheap.
It also has a hidden cable area if you want to connect a nunchuk.
...recommended for on-rails shooters. "

Very good price, heat and rep added.

These are ace, I got myself one the other week and my girlfriend reckoned that was the only reason I was the king of HotD when we played together. Just ordered another as a cheap gift for her birthday to take the excuses away

Hi,

Is there a crosshair on the screen when playing this game (with or without the gun)? I'm desperate (well, that's a bit of an exaggeration) for a game where you use the actual sight of the gun to aim (think any light-gun game). I don't really get it otherwise...

Anyway, cheers for any help. Google didn't seem to have the answer the last time I tried.

EDIT: More googling has found me the answer. However, it seems that with the crosshairs off, even if you have calibrated it, the way the wiimotes and sensor bar work mean that it will never be as accurate as the light-gun days. Oh well.

nice one been after a gun adaptor for my wii at this price iv bought 2 one for me and one for the girlfriend.

heat added

You can choose whether to have the crosshairs on or off on Ghost Squad. You get more points for playing without them. Its a pretty fun game, and the more you play, the more routes, weapons and costumes you unlock. Also, there's the online ranking system to take on. I'm only at 901 for Europe

The calibration on Overkill is the closest I have used to a decent Guncon or Sega gun in a Wii game. Pretty sure you can play without the sights, but it is hard

I got the Venom ones for £5 each the other week from the hut.com.

Very good for this game if you want to save £2 lol

Can you use this with other House of Dead and shooting games?

Yep, it's just a plastic case moulded into the shape of a gun.

Good find, ordered one, also had £1 voucher that had to be used this month. Thanks
