This is the official Microsoft charger as supplied with the Lumia 950 and 950XL.

A bit niche but this is currently the cheapest fastest way to charge your Nexus 5X, 6P or other USB-C mobile device. Cheaper than Google's options etc.

I've just bought one.

Please be careful if purchasing uncertified usb-c chargers. You run a substantial risk of frying your phone and / or burning your house down. Search for the Amazon reviews from Google engineer Benson Leung and please don't buy anything he hasn't personally okayed.
Says official Microsoft product so this will be safe.
Doesn't damaging batteries really quickly damage them long term?

Yes, damaging batteries quickly also means that they will be damaged in the long term. If you hit it with a hammer and break it, it will still be broken in 2 years.

not sure why this charger would damage a battery? funny how I'm getting protective over my own post
As this is an all in one from eBay I wouldn't risk it! Even with a UK plug unless from a reputable company I don't touch them. We had a UK plug we used for putting a bit of juice into phone batteries. From HK with a reputable seller. It nearly blinded my mate and blew a hole in our 4 way and tripped all electronics in the office!

It's made by Microsoft ... not sure why anyone wouldn't trust it ??
I doubt it's made by Microsoft. There are no identifying marks and no labels.on it.
