Hi,

I found this on Play.com and the price changed today down to £12.99!

The best price so far for this awesome controller!

Good price, *horrible* device. It's blacker than black, overloaded with small black buttons, it's not backlit and any press of any button turns on your PS3, whether you wanted to or not. I love the PS3 as a media player but this remote is to be generally avoided.

I say again though, good price ;-)

Amazon price is up and down all the time; this was £14.50 earlier today!!

I love this controller.
Boots PS3 with pressing any button on it. Play tv works splendidly with it.
If you use PS3 media server or any other media streaming software this is a MUST.

Its absolutely spot on.
Best peripheral I bought for the PS3.

£12.99 on amazon but 0.5% quidco on Play... So save yourself a few more pennies !!

Quite contrasting views, which I find both true. I do find it's benefits, as now I have a proper controller for a system I was primarily going to use for playing media, but it could do with being backlit, usb rechargeable, having a dedicated on/off switch (or just use the ps button), support a qwerty keyboard and mousepad, and not a tiny buttons... but lacking all these, it sure as hell beats having to use the controller!

Good remote, just wish they would re-release it without the Spider-Man Playstation 3 font.

Never regretted buying this even if it does turn the PS3 on when you don't want it. Warm on the deal though as this is hardly a scorching price.

£12.99 right now so this deal is steaming

Can anyone say if this works with the iplayers, and more importantly, love film?

Brought, I think this is the closest to a tenner I have seen it.

In a word, yes

Does anyone know if this can be used to navigate media server folders such as TVersity as that's all I use until I upgrade the hard drive. Voted hot regardless as I haven't seen this cheaper.

Really? Where did you hear that? I was hoping for one to come out. I've heard loads of complaints about this not having an on/off button and turning on the PS3 with the accidental press of any button

Heres a link to info on the new ps3 remote. Its got an intergrated ir controller in it so that it will also control Sony tvs etc....

thesixthaxis.com/201…ay/

I can`t see an On/Off button on there.

You might find that your TV does an HDMI link that does away with the need for the remote. My 4 year old Sharp has an Aquos link that controls the PS3 via the TV remote seamlessly.

Just saying. That'll only work if you have a slim PS3. The fat PS3's HDMI won't work with it.

I think I'll wait for the new model. That looks a lot better.

Green Amp and TV On / Off buttons.

I'd guess also if you select the grey Amp / TV buttons then the remote will go into IR mode and therfore not turn on the PS3? No more accidental activation of the PS3.

I have a bravia TV that controls the PS3 via HDMI but its controls are rudimentary, particularly with regard to accessing BD menu's etc.

R.

I would recommend one of these if you do play blue rays

Good price.

Agree with the comments that its annoying that any button can turn the PS3 on, you’d think they could fix this with an option within the PS3?

Also, and I’m being picky here, I think the stop and pause buttons should be around the other way, but maybe that’s just me…

Its gone up??

Yup, now £14.19

This is £13.59 in store at Tesco who are doing a 20% off gaming accessories promotion at the moment

I use PS3 media server which works v.similiar to Tversity.
I could not live without the bluray remote for PS3 and it works perfectly with it.

Strange that would have assumed Sony's link would be the best overall.

Sharp allows me to use the TV's up/down/left/right and OK buttons so no issues navigating through a bluray, also has a return button which allows to go back. Also switches off PS3 when TV is switched off.

Why is this expired? It's still showing up at £12.99 for me.
