Just pop down to Gamestation (Slough) yesterday and found this amazing price.

Official Sony PS3 Wireless Bluetooth Headset (PS3) Pre-owned £[email protected] INSTORE

It was the only one but the deal might be nationwide so f you find one then you can get a bargain.

I could not believe the price. CEX gives £10 cash for this £13 exchange.

Good luck finding one,

Ditto..I'm not overly keen with having a used headset either for the same reason!

Just asked my mate to check for me whilst his in town, HOT if I can get hold of one, I have been using the PS3 Camera for a mic online, this would make it a lot easier,

Don't quite like the idea of using a pre-owned headset that goes inthe ear when you don't know who's used it or where its been.

I prefer using the PLAYSTATION Eye (or PS2 EyeToy) camera to a headset.

I also would not buy a pre-owned headset unless it was still in a sealed state (by the manufacturer).

Cant say a second hand headset especially one that goes into the Ear such as the PS3 one would appeal to me. Just pay the extra tenner for a new one or get a cheaper blue tooth headset (there are lots out there) that will work with the PS3.

Well the difference in price is about £17 with a new one and if you are too bothered then why not just get some Replacement Foam Earpads. (You probably even have some at home)
You can get them very cheap for less than pound.
Maplin does two for £1.99

I think is a fantastic deal and even if you don't want it if you find one you can take it to CEX and make a profit of £5 (exchange) or £2 (cash).

Normally Gamestation is next to CEX so for your trouble you are making free money, how is that not a good deal.

Mine doesnt do preowned headsets for hygiene reasons.

I think I'd want to dip that in bleach first!

Considering these are available from Play.com brand new for £17.99 I don't think this is a great deal. I would not be putting a headset used by someone else in my ear, disgusting!

The price of a headset new is £17.99 so is a tenner more as i suggest not £17. Also my PS3 Official headset doesnt have a Foam Earpad. Also PS3 Compatible Bluetooth headsets available brand new for Under a Tenner.

Anyway good price if you want a second hand headset.

...it may also come as a surprise that not every town or city has one/other/both Store, and I don't believe the relevant organisations plan to open their Stores adjacent to each other.

Certainly for me, I would have to visit two towns with a 30 mile 'round trip to purchase from Gamestation & trade-in at CEx, and the profit made would be offset several times over by travel costs to do so.

If you've found an opportunity to make some money though, please go for it.

I would "not" buy the official PS3 headset (at more than the OPs deal) … I would "not" buy the official PS3 headset (at more than the OPs deal) which I did :-( because -The most stupid thing about the Official PS3 headset is the MUTE, when you press Mute on the headset a small message comes onscreen to let you know you are muted which is great, BUT then every 10 seconds this loud annoying double beep comes through the headset to remind you that you are muted which you already knew because it told you onscreen.!!!!It keeps doing this double beep when you are trying to hear people talking (getting an earache now) and there is no way to turn it off :x (Even though you also get an onscreen message telling you when you do actually turn mute back off)So now you go to play Mototrstorm PR and think oh well I will just have to put up with it BUT then some idiot starts shouting, singing or using that stupid voice pitch change they put in the firmware so you think "I'm going to mute that idiot" but you go through the options in Motostorm PR and find YOU CAN'T MUTE PEOPLE !!!!!! so not only do you get the singing, swearing etc you also get that constant double beep...................... ughhhhhhhhh..

That would be quite annoying, all the games i play you can mute individual people, i wonder why they didn't for motorstorm PR?
