Just booked an oil service for a BMW E46 Compact with National tyres using Castrol oil for £31!

Use code GPLUS1OF for 20% off online price

Includes castrol oil and unipart oil filter

Does state possible small charge for removing undertray etc but my local branch are not charging for this.

Sounds good,but......

Due to the time taken to remove some modern day engine sump guards or under trays, it may be necessary to request a small additional labour charge. If this is the case, we will discuss and agree this with you in the branch prior to commencing work.

Check the small print always.

Still voting hot though.

anyone noticed it adds £1.70 for oil disposal?? do you have to have this, or will they give you the oil so you can take to local tip for free?

Castrol Magnatec 10W40 Semi Synthetic (includes oil filter) Total after discounts: £24.48 for 97 VW Golf GTi MK3. Not bad since I used to pay £15 locally for ramp use but had to supply my own oil & filter + bonus no dirty hands.

£26.18 for me on a Focus 1.6TDCi....... that is a great deal.
Heat added.

Be aware, this outfit are NOT mechanics. if they break anything (like stripping / snapping off the screws to your undershield) they do not have the ability to do any repairs - nor do they carry replacement parts. I found this out the hard way.

£31.22 for my Mrs' Civic; I'm tempted to ask for the 1.5litres extra that they won't use!

I presume it's literally an oil change and there'll be no stamp in the book?

what is this ''GEN500 Engine flush (£8.00)' '????

basically it flushes out the engine/sump of all the gunk thats built up on the sump over the years

if you have old car over 10 years and have never had it done might be worthwhile

Ofcourse you could always get the jack out and do it yourself

Changing the oil is one of the easiest jobs you can do on your own car.

You can get cheap branded oil and filters on promotion and do it yourself.

eurocarparts were doing a fully synthetic shell oil for 15 quid a couple of months ago.

I have a Megane 1.5 dci from 2006 ..just bought it last year...so basically should I do this ''engine flush'' or not?
I've been quoted £36.72 without engine flush and with the better oil>Castrol Edge 5W40 Fully Synthetic (includes oil filter)

how much oil do they put? 1L or more?

it may be cheap for us that know how and have the tools to do so but to change some filters can be a pain and most people can't even do the emptying and filling up let alone the filters

engine flush is when they put this can of engine flush into the engine, run the car for about 10mins, it helps to unclog the dirt around in engine then later all comes out, iv had my car serviced with a engine flushd.. good to do it in a while, i think they mainly advise to do it when engine has done 70-80k miles, or more,

I would not bother with a flush mate car is very new and most cars take about 4-5L

£24.48 after discount and im geting rid of me own oil...lol..........now thats a dam good price

I always get my cars oil service done from them. Never paid oil disposal charges. They also stamp the book if you ask for it and will let you know if anything needs changing. To be honest, they have never been pushy to sell anything on the top of oil service. Not sure about other branches but huddersfield branch I have only good things to say about them. Don't forget AA discount on tyres etc. AA discount is not valid for oil change service
