Thanks. Don't know if its good or not, but free is free. Heat.

This comment perfectly illustrates the lack of understanding of VPNs. Free is not free. Whilst a VPN encrypts all of your traffic between your device and their server, it does not encrypt it further on the way out. This means that you are choosing to route all your data through their server. Ignoring the reduced performance that the greater latency causes, it also means that they could very well be harvesting your data or injecting advertisements or crypto-mining scripts into your sessions. This has been the case with "free" proxies and VPNs for a long time.

I would be very wary of any free VPN service over a 2 week trial period. You can't expect good performance AND great privacy for free.

Nope.
It says to enter your email address and they will send you there a code for the premium vpn, but i think it is easy to figure it out yourself without german knowledge

hey ich dachte, wenn ich in Deutsch tippte, würden Sie vielleicht meinen Beitrag lesen!

Bin ich der Einzige, bei dem die Seite auf Deutsch erscheint?

Even Facebook has a free VPN but you do have to pay with your data. The user ends up being the commodity. techradar.com/new…der
If it's free then you're the product, especially with a VPN.

I had this last year. It DIDN'T last a year
Been using this off and on for a few years, works ok. Some people seem to be confusing this with a "free" VPN, it's the premium version being given away for free, so you get the same unlimted flat rate as the 30 bucks service. They do have a "free" version which has its own restrictions.

Fair enough, but this isn't their free vpn service. It's their premium service being offered free for one year.
This is from their Privacy Policy; "The OkayFreedom service saves neither addresses nor content accessed by the user, the IP address that OkayFreedom assigned to them; nor the user's own IP address through which they are using OkayFreedom. As a result, it is not possible for Steganos to ascertain the content an OkayFreedom user has accessed. Neither the IP address of the user nor that of the accessed servers are saved".

Yep - just click AbsChicken and you're good to go!
Great deal by the way if it's the premium service with no logging and free for a year.

Just registered a dozen times so I have 12 unique premium codes in case they decide to pull the offer!

I used them for 3 years thanks to offers like this and personally I've had no problems at all. I dont think id pay for it though because it is slow
Danke für die Information.
Ist Deutsch noch in Little England erlaubt?
I keep my VPN turned off and only turn it on when I need to access sites from 'outside the UK'. I don't care what data they harvest in these short periods of use.
Not actually a bad VPN service. German based and reasonably trust worthy. Client is all based on OpenVPN and it can be a little bit buggy at times. They block nothing so you can use it for whatever you fancy and pick what country your endpoint is.
Can't comment on speed as i'm on a 6Mb ADSL so it handles that no problem. If you are expecting 100Mb/s your experience may be different.
If you are ultra paranoid there are more proven options out there , but they cost more too and if you worry about logging or don't trust their policy you can cycle through a few VPNs.
This won't work as a netflix proxy if thats your use.
Does anyone know if this works from outside the UK to access UK betting sites? I'm so fed up of going on holiday and not being able to put a weekend acca on the football haha.

I've tried some of the "free" VPN's and had no luck at all.

Don't see why not. You can set your end point as UK
