Not bad for a 5 litre keg

A wha? LITRE!!
Not a good price per ml if you can get 500ml bottles for a quid... The keg is a novelty but that's about it....

Agree, just under 9 pints in a keg. Anything under £1 a pint is a deal.
Always wanted to try a keg, basically if you don't have it in one sitting it's rubbish, went flat, dropped everywhere. Easy for some I'm sure..

Just you stay with your Carling, and Stela when you get your job seeker money.
Good price but needs to be drank within 24h to enjoy it properly, good to share.

Just need to remember to turn the vent before pouring or else you lose all the gas.

And can’t beat a real ale,for people that are drinkers download the Untapped App

Works out at about £1.48 a pint.
Nice beer. Good price. Love having a keg in the garden as well cheers op
Don't want to spoil the post but Morrisons has bobby's IPA at a tenner a keg.
Would you mind letting me know if the seal on top is rubber or plastic please? Rubber is great for homebrew re-use!

Learn to spell and I might take you seriously
Aldi sell the 500ml bottles in store usually for £1.29 so this is basically the same price with the novelty of a keg and the disadvantage (or advantage?) of having to buy 5 litres in one go.

It needs to be compared to 500ml bottles as you have stated, rather than pints! Novelty, but if you've a few friends over then might be worth it. Not sure it will last the 3 days stated on the outside without it being flat or the last quarter being a lot less drinkable.

They don’t,they state 3 days but I’d say 24h at a push.
Nice beer, not to strong alcohol wise but has a decent taste. Worth it in a keg if you going to drink it quite quickly at a party or, as I did, over Christmas Day, but goes flat quickly if you don't. Price is OK, normally about £15, but Morrisons quite often do it for a tenner and as someone pointed out, the bottles work out cheaper at the moment there.

One good thing about the kegs is that if you're into your homebrew, you can clean and refill them. I've done it and it works quite well. Videos on YouTube

I find the plastic topped ones are a right pita, the rubber ones much easier to reuse. Don't suppose you know what sort this one is do you?

Haha, getting into the loft and finding it is another pita, make sure you enjoy your Sunday! Also, I've noticed more and more are turning plastic, perhaps to stop us reusing!

For people that are alcoholics? I've not yet seen any other purpose to the app than to celebrate one's alcoholism.

Yours might, ours sells it for £1.25 for 500ml (not £1.29) on most of the beers that I would be interested in drinking:

aldi.co.uk/wyc…800

I saw those kegs but didn't think it was worth posting here, firstly because I'm not too keen on that particular beer, secondly it's cheaper in bottles or by buying it elsewhere. Quite surprised that it's reached such a high temperature. Not ideal for beer

I use it as a log as I like trying different ales so I can keep tabs of what I’ve tried and what I haven’t instead of going over the same things.

Also get ideas of what to try next by friends.

How much are you guys doing a pint of Home brew for? I did a feasibility study and it wasn't anything like 'the old days'.
It’s an Ok ish deal, Morrison usually sells these off for £10 when they have a deal. Didn’t Aldi sell the 500ml bottles for £1.25 making this the same price?
