Running out of time to claim this model now but one of the lowest prices it has been outside the recent eBay deals.

Probably save another £20 with a richersounds price beat

Nice. After a lot of thought on this, I think I'm going with the Philips 803 which is £1199 but has amilight and decent motion processing.

What's the OS like on the Phillips? I got this LG last week and have been blown away by the speed and efficiency of the LG apps, controller, Google integration etc, great experience which I wasn't really expecting. Richer Sounds should price match this for you with a 6 year warranty if you email them and can pick up... Just incase youve overlooked that side of it

But unfortunately inferior to the lg
Got mine couple weeks ago from Richer Sounds. Great TV - don't know why I put off getting one for so long. Anyone looking at an OLED this is a good price for the C8.

Oddly have never had LG products of any type, always Samsung, Sony or Panasonic. So far, blown away.

Coming from a none smart TV, having to use the playstation for Netflix & Prime - to have these built in as well as iPlayer, YouTube etc., at UHD quality, with the apps loading in an instant, it's truly brilliant.

I bought a B8 earlier this year and had to return it. Came back one day to find the outline of the window burnt in to the picture after a sunny day. Went away after a while but meant we couldn’t watch tv this night. Am now on the hunt for a FALD led

Philips has the better processor, motion and image. It's running Android 8 Oreo.

LG Web OS is very good though as is the C8 generally.

If push came to shove I would say the Philips is perhaps the better TV and that ambilight is a killer feature

No Dolby vision kills the philips set for me or Atmos for Netflix. Both great TV’s though
Looks like price has shot back up
