Good quality, taste and texture, almost a kilo for a couple of quid. Nice and green despite my useless camera.

I've had these, I think. They are very cheap. They're in water? Personally, I don't think they've got much taste

nothing special...I have been buying them for years and this is their normal price....sometimes they discount them to £1.59

I think these olives are not pitted - they have the stones in them. A much better deal is the special on at Lidl's now which is posted on here, BOGOF for £3.99, so effectively almost £1.99 each, are the jars of pitted Greek Queen olives 1600g, drained weight 850g, making them 24p per 100g!

I can say that they are definitely pitted. We buy these ones often and for the price, the ain't too bad, although not the greatest quality, they do ok on pizza or making Italian-style bread with olive oil. I haven't tried the Queen olives you metioned, so i will ask mum to look out for them.

Hmmm, i think the photo shows that they are obviously pitted

I did not notice the picture shows they are pitted so that's better. But while you get 950g, almost a kilo, that's not the drained weight. With the other offer for the queen olives, which are a bit bigger, you get 1660g or 850g drained, so it is a better deal. I got 10 jars this Saturday @ less than £2 each.
