ha ha ha funny guy

What a disgrace.

£9.99 +vat for a printer complete with 2 ink cartridges that cost you £19.95 each to replace.

So much for recycling and saving the world.

WHY??????????? are buyers getting ripped off like this?????????????

How many SUCKERS will buy these printers thinking they have a bargain?

Not realising its going to cost a fortune to run.

Only Tossers that dont care about the world their children will have to live in will buy this sort of thing.

It show the stupidity of the computer world we live in.

How does this type of marketing fare against European directives about recycling??????????

Olliveti used to have a world famous reputation for business machines but now they are tossers

Sorry about the reception you're getting with this Howells1972, but this printer has been posted a few times in the past and usually gets a bad rep for a few reasons.

Have a look at the price of inks for it before buying, over £20 each for a black or a colour cartridge. Also not individual colours so you'll be throwing away expensive ink every time you change.

Good luck!

PS Now says 165 in stock, ready to ship...

I'd strongly recommend waiting for a deal on a Brother printer scanner. Build quality is good, includes sheet feeder and the big separate ink tanks last ages and so with compatibles costs pennies to run. When they're cheap they are about £40 and well worth it.

I've had canon printers and hp - they cost enough to run but epson/olivetti/lexmark take rip-off to a whole new level.

Just looked and 150 in stock

reminds me of lexmarks old days, virtually give away printers and make money on the inks...the amazon canon deal at £41 with a £20 rebate makes for a better deal IMHO.

Don't see why its so cold though, good price for scanner and very occasional printer, especially with screen. Ink costs less the lexmark, you could always try refilling the carts yourself. The landfill argument, okay, true, but then these printers have already been manufactured, its not like they are built to order...

how are epsons a rip off?? they are the cheapest to buy new ink wise. and can be refilled if you want to buy a chip resetter for a fiver. this is because they have the head built into the printer and not into the cartrige
