Please dont vote this based on your view of the Olympics alone. It will hopefully give some on here a heads up if they are after Olympics tickets for themselves or as a present.

This will probably shot down but since I wanted to give everyone on here a heads up then here it is. From 11am today the Olympic football tickets went back on sale, since its not been widely publicised I thought I'd let everyone know.

Just got myself 4 tickets to see the GB team at Old Trafford. Can't argue really as there are dates when it tells you the GB Team will be playing. These tickets are on a first come - first served basis.

Guaranteed dates to see the GB teams:

Fixtures:
GB men's team:
Thursday July 26, Old Trafford
Sunday July 29, Wembley Stadium
Wednesday Aug 1, Millennium Stadium

GB women's team:
Wednesday July 25, Millennium Stadium
Saturday July 28, Millennium Stadium
Tuesday July 31, Wembley Stadium

After that you get the Quarter final - finals so that could be anyone.

Get behind them, not mug them off. I'm never gonna get to see an Olympic event again in my lifetime, i'm making the most of it!!! Especially after the Gary Speed death this week.

I caved in and bought them

How do I know what my second match is?

I think Team BG play Old Trafford, then Wembley and then The Millenium Stadium for the 3 group games, after that who knows coz the draw hasn't been made yet.

I was undew the impression only the FINAL tickets went on sale months ago with all the other events. Today all the other football tickets went on sale. Or have I read that wrong? Can anyone supply a link telling me what went on sale and when.

A slight exageration, the group A tickets were expensive yes, but the group C and D were much MUCH cheaper, not £180.

I managed to only get Mens & Womens Final tickets during the original Olympics lottery (out of about 20 events I applied for). Hopefully it'll be somebody good.

Help!
I am wanting to go as family ( 2 children aged 11yrs and 14 yrs) would they beable to see ok in the cheapest tickets C or should I choose B?
Anybody got a seat plan please for Old Trafford?

I'll be honest get any seats you can coz they'll sell out, the more expensive the nearer to the action you'll be.

good reductions on kids tickets site still a mare, took me 30 mins to get tickets and so many crashes

Total *********S .Applied online, specifically for wembley games, at 11.02 said processing .Tried to ring and got we are busy message 4 times then cut off.Had to go out and just called them and guess what only 01 Aug prelim left available in mens catagory.Total con and 2012 organisers have shown they cany even get this right when they new it would be busy ,so just wait for the event to happen and judging by the performance so far i am not expecting an efficient Olympic experience Might just watch it at home over a bbq . Seb Coe you should be doin right for the home supporters and sorry but this is yet another very poor show.
Rant over oO
Did anyone get a final ticket

Old Trafford, Team GM, 2 games in one night, me, the missus and 3 kids - £88.

Bargain!

Draw when you find out who will be playing when and where will take place on April 24th

Thanks OP,

I had no idea I could get tickets still

just got 2 for team GB at Old Trafford

The £6 delivery charge was a bit sneaky though, didnt see that till payment went through (I did rush it a bit so as not to miss out)

Heat added.

2 for OT cheers OP

OT + Team GB = Perfect.

I got 6 for St James's for 2 matches on a Sunday. Great value for £20. I know I don't know who is playing but should be a good atmosphere and for £10 a game I am willing to take a punt!

Remember all, you get lucky and get a Argentina game. They always send a very strong squad to the Olympics.

Rubbish. The English FA is on board with this so there will definitely be significantly more than 1 member from the actual national squads... Of course, we are yet to see if Wales, Scotland and NI are willing to take part to make it a true GB squad, but regardless, England's best will be there.

Most are outside London, so cold

and we don't know who will be playing the matches
