Fantastic price for a fantastic camera. Bought one myself a while back and it was worth it at £100 more expensive.

Don't forget your quidco.

"It was March of last year when I reviewed the 8-megapixel E-500, Olympus’s third E-system DSLR. I was impressed by its simple and compact design, beginner-friendly interface and superb handling, and especially by its very high picture quality and wide range of creative options."
Seems good :-D

Excellent deal & a very capable camera but you can land a Sony A200 for this money & access relatively cheaper Konica/Minolta lenses.

Right, for anyone considering this DSLR like me then just read ]this.
I was sure that I was going to buy they D40 until I just read that!

Good Price for a decent camera..

Well a few months ago I had the choice of the D40, the A200 and the E510.

After reading the reviews there was simply only one camera I was going to choose, and the Olympus was an easy choice.

I've just bought an Oly E-510 twin lens kit for £296 on eBay. Thus far I'm very pleased with it. This Play.com deal looks pretty good but I would recommend looking out for the twin lens kit for the extra functionality. Voted hot.

Always a good time to buy a camera is when a new one becomes available, in this case the E520.

If you're not bothered about having the latest gadget which might only be marginally better, then this is a bargain and it has built in body image stabilisation unlike the Canon/Nikon equivalents.

As far as I know, I think the E520 has the same sensor so image quality should be very similar.

Like I've said in previous posts on here re: DSLR cameras .. don't base your purchase on price alone....!!

Go into Jessops or another camera shop and try these things out - you'll know which camera suits you and 'feels right'.

It's not all about price.

BU**ER B*GG*R ... i've just seen the post and I want one of these and it now looks like its sold out... ARGGGGGHHHHHHHH

I don't see any button to order this camera, nor any price?

Very good comment! Once you move to DSLR, you purchase long-term and buy into a system.

I plumped for the twin lens kit myself. I then reserved ]this at argos. When I went to pick it up I was only charged £9.99, Brucie Bonus

Don't know if they are still scanning at that price though, this was a couple of months ago. In all honesty it's still worth it at the price it is now.

i bought the E500 last year and i am getting some really great pics with it, so this looks a good buy.

zuiko glass is far superior to all the other kit lenses
