Use Code EM10SAVE3

Another offer from Olympus, this time on the E-M10 Mark III using the above discount code. I've done a little research on specs here and tried to pick out things that you might be looking out for when comparing to the E-M5 Mark II, as that's a great price right now.

Both are very good for the money, so it's worth looking at the differences to make sure you're not paying for functions you don't need at all. Both of these models have pros and cons over each other, so definitely take time to figure out what works best for you.

I've posted the E-M5 Mark II for £ £599.99 if you're considering one or the other

Full specs on the 'Get Deal' Button - They are rather large to add in here!

E-M10 Mark III and the E-M5 mark II - Some of the differences:

  • Probably one of the biggest differences is that the E-M10 III gives you 4K recording capabilities Vs a Max resolution of 1080p on the E-M5 II

  • Both cameras have Wi-Fi functions

  • You get a Built in flash on the E-M10 Mark III whereas the E-M5 Doesn't have one

  • Higher number of focus points at 121 (E-M10) vs the 81 on the E-M5 II

  • You get around 20 more shots out of the battery on the E-M10 III

  • The E-M10 III is 59g lighter than the E-M5 II

  • The E-M10 III has is a tiny bit smaller than the E-M5 II (And I mean a tiny bit)

  • No Microphone jack on the E-M10 III, although there is an internal stereo mic / There is a 3.5mm Mic Jack on the E-M5 II Though

  • The E-M5 has a faster mechanical shutter than the EM-10 - 1/80000s vs 1/40000s

Key difference between the M10 III and M5 II is the build quality. M5 II is weather sealed and has much better build quality than the M10, which is still good. Can be a tie breaker for some on the fence, especially as weather sealed M43 lenses are affordable and superb
Really love the retro design of this or the Fuji XT series...
Wonder if this stacks with the free portrait lens? Suspect so - and it's a bargain deal then:

12-200 - £656
45 - £199
E-M10 MK III - £400-ish

Total: £1255 kit for £750

You could get the lenses sold for about the same money, making the body practically "free"

They just keep knocking out this same 16mp sensor.
Same as in my 2012 model ollies - e-pl5 and e-pm2 - it's not bad but . . .

Are you sure you mean that the Yi M43 camera uses the same 20MP sensor? As I thought Yi uses a Sony sensor?
I believe 20mp oly is a sony sensor.
Panny 16mp was usually different to oly 16mp.
Panny working on 8k video sensor ~ 33mp
A7 mirrorles have ibis - oly gets sensor !
thought for a moment it came with the oly 12-100 lens and got really excited...
