Absolutely love this camera. I believe this is the lowest price for the camera and 12-40mm PRO lens combination.

Cashback available for purchases before 31st Jan 2016 (minus £100 from above price)

HLD-7 Power battery holder (Handgrip) FREE - worth around £120

16.3 megapixels
ISO 100-25600
Tilting LCD 3" touchscreen
17.3x13.mm Live MOS sensor
WIFI connectivity to smartphone which allows you to remotely trigger from phone and import photos to phone

Had great fun playing with the time lapse function and image quality is certainly good enough for me.

May not be for everyone but cashback brings it down to around £100 above grey import prices (Digitalrev currently selling £979). If you want to include the grip as part of the deal then this is definitely worth a look. I think the additional battery will be needed as it's a power hungry camera.

Just figured same price at Jessops and Wex. Any other reason why so cold?
£1200 for a camera with a sensor size you couldn't take a slash through. That's why it's cold. D750 or X-T1 money, with a good couple of lenses.
Hot from me. This is the top-end pro Oly and there are plenty of real pros out there using these as tools for their jobs every day. Anyone saying stupid things about the sensor size has clearly never used an OM-D of any sort and doesn't understand the 4/3 system, it's more than capable of producing images for bus stop or larger advertising hoardings

Thanks both for your comments. Each individual will have their preferences in what they want in a camera and £££ range. At this price and the capabilities it provides and small form makes it a worthy choice in my humble opinion.
Sony killed off micro four thirds with the RX100.
tempt

Sony killed off micro four thirds with the RX100.

Sony haven't killed m4/3 and have no reason to do so considering they are a major shareholder in Olympus
Hot from me. After subtracting the cashback, the pro lens and the cashback you get the Pro camera for a couple of humdred quid.
I guess a new flagship model will be announced in a few days as this is cheaper than the EM5 mk II

No leaks thus far but the Olympus 3 year cycle of refinement/upgrade is due soon for the EM1.
I guess you have put it another way in regards to the deal - if you wanted a good quality pro lens (£900+) then the flagship body comes in real cheap.
As update Jessops deal finishes 31st Dec 2015, Park cameras if I recall was 7th Jan 2016.
The 16mp olympus sensor does punch above it's weight.
So do 16mp 1/2.3 sensors but no-one likes to mention that.
It's full-frame that has smaller competitors snapping at it's heels.
